After the success of the Orion series, lost vape offers a smaller and less expensive Pod product called "Prana".

Prana has a maximum output of 12W with three selectable power levels and an integrated 500 mAh battery.
Once turned on, the device activates automatically with our shot.

Prana uses a replaceable pod with an integrated 1.2Ω coil.

Prana is a well-designed and good-looking mod, its shape is square with rounded corners, except for the 90 ° corner where the pod is located. It is very small with its 66.8mm high, 41.4mm wide and 14.2mm thick, the weight is relevant for such a small 70 grams object.

In hand it offers an impression of great solidity and a feeling of quality and value.

The body is made of metal while the front and rear panels are made of soft material, other versions use acrylic panels.

The bottom of the mod houses the charging socket, the battery vent holes, the disposal logo and the C E. mark.

The seat where to insert the pod is equipped with two contact pins for the coil, it also houses the practical window to keep the liquid level monitored.

On a corner of the Prana there is a very strong anchor for the lanyard / collar, very useful to avoid the risk of losing such a small device.

The first of the two narrow sides houses the liquid control window (previously seen), the only on / off / power selection button and the multifunctional LED which indicates both the selected Power and the remaining charge.

Pod:

The Prana Pod Kit is supplied with two pods, both have a capacity of 1.0 ml and use a 1.2Ω Kanthal coil, the coil in the pod is not replaceable, therefore once the pod is used up it must be replaced with a new one.

1 ml is a truly reduced capacity even for a pod, consumption is reduced thanks to the type of coil and the low power delivered, even by vaping with good energy you can stay within a consumption of liquid around 3-4ml per day.

The tank cap consists of a simple rubber tab, once removed we access a well-sized rectangular refill hole.

The pods are transparent and through the window they allow a good visualization of the level / liquid and this is a great pro.

The pod can be inserted into the battery either way, but it is best to insert it so that the tank cap does not obstruct the viewing window. The pod fits firmly into the battery and sometimes it takes some energy to extract it, it can be useful in some cases to help pushing it forward / backward while pulling to extract it.

Pressing the button once will turn on the LED indicator in the same color as the current mode, pressing it again will change the output power level.

Final considerations:

I have occasionally used the same pod from the end of January to today, so far the coil has not shown any sign of sagging or loss of aroma. I have always used a 50/50 based liquid with licorice concentrated flavor.

On the Mod we don't have an air flow regulation system but I find that the shot is already valid in MTL, also the aromatic release, the Hit and the steam production are satisfactory, the shot is fluid and smooth, the steam is sufficiently hot usually we vape at 10W (Blue Led).

Activating the automatic shot works flawlessly.

We are not at the level of the Orion Plus which remains a reference product for this category, but considering the device and its cost I find that the Prana is still very good comparing it to the MTL pods of the competition.

The Prana in some respects could be improved with a greater liquid capacity and a type C refill, but overall it is a really good device.

The small size, the good performance in MTL mode and the ability to select 3 power levels are the main strengths of Prana.
