Lots of positive UK TV stuff lately

Don't know if you saw any of it as it was mainly daytime or daybreak TV - but it marks a turning point of sorts. Before, it was all 'could be dangerous' stuff. This time round it's been positive in many ways. Even the TV doctor H. Jones, who slagged it before as that was the party line, did some research and realised he'd better get with the program otherwise he was going to be dissing half a dozen professors of medicine whose shoes he isn't fit to shine.

This probably results from the nudge unit's report, plus a big push by JC @ Totally Wicked. Props to both.

I agree still though suprising amount of smokers have no idea about ecigs yet!

That is the problem, isn't it - how to reach all the people who have no idea you're out there, and who obviously don't use the internet. Mainstream media, newspaper adverts, posters, that kind of thing no doubt.

It would be helpful to have weblinks of the actualy television news shows about e-cigarettes, as I'd like to send it to e-cigarette opponents and open minded public health officials and advocates.

The BBC and ITV only leave those programmes online for seven days, and I can't get a license from either for Youtube usage - the clips are available in the programme Roly's linked to, and only there, I'm afraid.

(..but a pity that Dr Hilary Jones had to promote a puny lil e-cig.. but better than nowt I suppose...)
