hi all

i bought my first ecig around 6 months ago, a dse103 and at first thought it was the answer to my 40 a day habit.
the more i used it the more i got frustrated with the varying ammount of vapour i got from it so i then bought a ecis which produced good ammounts of vapour but batteries tend to last only around 3-4 hours and more of a concern my throat began to feel like glue had been poured down it after heavy useage of the ecig.
as a result i am back on the cigarettes during the day and revert to the ecig in the evenings (in front of the wife)

my questions,
has anyone else encountered the blocked throat symptoms and got any solutions.

what is everyone going on about on here "v.g. and p.g.??????

do liquid refils have any effect on the above and do they increase the vapour action, if so how are they used

have briefly seen some other posts ref flatulance etc. i think i can identify the ecig with a change in texture of number 2's, anyone else experiencing simlar side effects (maybe to do with overdoseage of nicotene?)

any help and advise on the ecig would be helpful as i dont want to go back to a 40 a day habit:nah:

I can't speak to all your questions but the throat thing..yes. I think the PG can kinda "stick" to your throat but I haven't had any other affects from it doing so. I imagine it a bit like a film.

Regardless, I find drinking anything with my vaping to relieve that symptom, especially anything with acid in it (like juice or soda).

There are a lot of threads in this forum that talk about pg vs vg. If your getting a sore throat I've read VG should alieve that.

Refilling your own carts definately increase the vapor action, as does the type of ecig your using. I'd suggest digging for more info thru the forums. It's litterally a vault of info here. :)

VG is Vegetable Glycerin, and PG is Propelene Glycol <sp?>. This is the stuff they use as medium for the e-liquid.

As to how to do refills and such, if you go to the stickys on top of this forum there is a really good introductory video, "New Updated Comprehensive Intro to Vaping", I think. It's got all that info in there - well worth the watching. I think I watched it twice. :)

Cheers,
Briar.
