I will start it off by telling y'all how I want to be swept off of my feet!!! (If you know my boyfriend tell him...hehehehehe)

I would start the day off by waking up to a wonderful pot of HOT COFFEE...then being left to my lifetime and couch while he cleans the house spotless from top to bottom...then a home cooked dinner with candles and the whole shabange...Then let me go to sleep!!!

Boring I know but eh...when you got my life...boring is a fabulous thing.

Well I usually don't get swept off my feet but I will Share how I swept my GF off hers last year and how I will do it again.

So last year just before Valentines day I pulled her out a gift of SPARRING! She came in to the Martial Arts school I was running at the time and I had her put everything on and told her that if she beat me I would cook dinner for the entire month of Feb.. Our anniversary is also in Feb so I figured it would be great. Of course she won, due purely to her awesome skillz at kicking my ..... ;) and I cooked Breakfast and Dinner for the whole month.

Now for this year.. I will be waking up early to make a full breakfast with Hashbrown Cakes, eggs, bacon and toast served in bed for her of course. Then we are going off to get on with our planned matching Tattoos(simple armbands She designed). Afterwards we will be heading home to spend a lazy lax day together until its time to take her out to dinner which she can pick any place she would like to go.
Think that about sums it up for me

What is valentines and how do you make it special. One or the other makes coffee and brings it to the other to bed.... and makes breakfast. The world goes on with work and things but the love is in the air. Likely the same person does this next, but who knows. After getting home from work you make their favorite food, special with the spices they like.... later you find the other has written a love letter to you and has put rose petals on the bed, waiting for that special moment. Candles are lit in the bedroom, fragrance fills the air... a drink or two if you like and let the motions roll..... this can be a tag team event or one person doing it all. Who cares if one does it all, the other feels special and the love ensues......

I'll tell you what my boyfriend did for me a couple of years ago that was pretty great. I love all the Hostess, Little Debbie, Drake's and TastyKake snack cakes a little bit more than a normal person. My boyfriend, who can hardly make scrambled eggs, found a recipe for a giant Hostess Chocolate Cup Cake and surprised me! It was pretty epic and actually tasted pretty good. It was lopsided and more of an oval than a circle, but it was an awesome Valentine's gesture.

I found the picture of what the recipe should look like:

Spartanstew must be my long lost brother because beer and nachos is pretty much my answer to everything, so why not sweep me off my feet with it on V's Day. For my wife to sweep me off my feet with any of my favorite foods, she would first have to allow me to eat and drink it, which is probably less likely :)

Thank for the contest!

Okay, here is my plan for the big day with my lovely & sweet wife!

First, I will prepare some flowers to surprise my wife with a handwritten message, of course!

Second, for the memorable evening I'm planning to craft an elegant meal by myself.

After the meal is over, we will eat the custom ordered chocolates with warm drinks......

OH CRAP! THAT'S ENOUGH!!!

We try to be loving and caring toward one another all year long. My husband usually get me a card, flowers and candy. I usually get him a card and cook dinner. We've been together so long it's just a blessing that we still love each other.:D

I wrote him a poem one year a couple years back that went like this:

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Aren't you glad
I'm still in love with you?

He got such a kick out of it.

Sweep me off my feet?

Wake me up at zero-dark-thirty. Walk me to your vehicle, no matter what make or model as long as the flats boat is hooked to it. Drive me to Everglades national park, it is only a couple of hours away. Launch the boat just before dawn then wake me up again. Get me to your honey hole fishing spot while I await the coming sunrise. Just as the sun starts to shoot its first rays of light, pop the top on my first Becks of the day. Now you get to pole me around the bay.

This has never happened to me. In fact, it was I who always did the above for others, an no, I will not take you, I am retired and do not even have the boat anymore. I guess if I want to get swept off my feet, I will just have to hire a guide!
