There have been two juices that I was absolutely in love with, but now... I can't even stand them! S'more was the first one that did this to me. I was so in love with it... and then one day it just didn't taste right. I don't think it was a steeping issue, the bottle lasted me a while. The second was Green Apple... I really truly liked it, but it didn't help that my folks didn't like the smell of it. After a while, I couldn't stand the taste of it. Weird, but true. It was as though an on-off switch was permanently flicked to OFF. Anyone else experience this?

I would think by now your taste issues would have slowed down a bit. I went through it with 555. Loved it and now the thought of it makes me want to gag. I vaped the crud out of it but can't even stand to smell strong nutty tobacco flavored juices.

I also went through a period about 2 months ago when one week I only wanted fruity, another week only tobacco, another week only desert type juices, then I could vape whatever I wanted. I think our buds go through "healing" longer than the rest of our body...LOL. It seems, since we shed taste buds regularly, that our tastes will change from time to time. I don't think there is scientific proof of this that it's just my thinking.

I know it stinks but don't toss the juices. You might buy a plain tobacco that just doesn't cut it but mixed with a little of either your s'mores or apple might get your buds to rockin'. Just a thought..............

I know what you mean, it's as though my taste-buds are poltergeists  Seriously, I am 99% convinced that they're just punishing me for 5-6 years of analog torture. I deserve it, though. I am a picky eater, so should I be surprised that I'm a picky e-liquid vaper? Probably not.

I've only liked one tobacco juice out of 3. It was Shade Menthol by Vaporbomb. It's not something I'd buy but it was just sweet (almost like powdered iced tea mix?) and a hint of menthol. I have given up on tobacco juices, unless I get a sampler here or there.

Luckily, my best friend has my 30ml of green apple, and my other friend took the S'more, so they didn't go to waste. :vapor: I probably would have PIF'd it off if I didn't give the juices over to them. 'Tis a shame that these things happen...

I went through the same thing you did and still do at times. I am like you I think my taste buds are giving me a lashing for thirty odd years of analogs. I have several flavors i liked at first, then couldn't stand, then liked them again after I quit vaping them for awhile. I agree don't toss them, at least not yet. Vape something else for awhile then come back to them and try them. If you still can't stand them then I would toss them

Sounds like the same kind of thing that happens to people with food or drinks. Back when I would drink soda like it was water, there were times when I just couldn't stand the taste of it. It'd last for months on end, too. Then, out of the blue, I liked the flavor again. It wasn't the only food/drink to do that, it was just the one I noticed because I drank it on a daily basis.

It's not an uncommon situation, from what I understand, so maybe your tastebuds just need recovery time.

For me it is every juice now, I hit them for a while and love them, especially a new juice that I haven't tried or just a new flavor, then after using it for a while its just not the same in taste to me. I feel this is with ALL juices I now vape so I have to rotate flavors like a bartender mixes drinks. I have a ton of different Mods set up and each with a different flavor so I can happily rotate between them all just to be satisfied with my vape. I wish , I wish I could just find that one juice that I could vape all day long and be totally satisfied but I'm truly thinking it just isn't out there. Going on 3yrs vaping you would think I would be settle into a few juices that are it for me but it's just not that way and may never be by the way it has gone now therefore its total rotation of Mods and different juices.

I can totally relate, thought it was just me being a picky vaper/eater with fickle tastebuds, glad you shared that. I've had juices that I loved, then couldn't vape anymore, no warning, the on-off switch flicked to OFF and that was it. Then again, like you, I'm a picky eater, and the same thing happens to me with food...love something for years, then one day - bam, can't stand it - so wierd, but what can you do?. Vaping has been the same, luckily though, I'm in the "love it" mode with my big juice rotation and have been for a good while. I think rotating often helps keep the off switch on delayed mode :). Somehow vaping the same thing too much/too long seems to make it happen a lot quicker (for me anyway)!

I think for those afflicted with the picky on-off switch gene, you just have to enjoy it for however long you do, then if it goes to OFF, do what you did, pass it on and hope to find new loves :). Wow, typing this makes me thankful that I'm only that way with food and ejuice, heehee.
