Love my VK but.......

But.... I have had 3 carts that have a burning taste to them (i have been making sure they dont get too hot) and also 1 cart that seemed empty.

besides that i absulutly love the VK, but i allready need to order more carts as over half taste nasty and are unvapeable now.

I saw another thread yesterday with a similar issue - wonder if there's a bad batch of cartos? If you've got some juice, maybe you can salvage some of them. In any event, I'm sure Steve or Mark will chime in.

What's the flavor, MG, and date (stamped on the bottom) on your cartos?

They'll definitely fix it for you but this info might help others with the same problem.

dont see a date but they are 18mg cowboys and 3 of em burned out and 1 doesnt have any juice in it at all.. unless its busted. I am filling the empty one right now with some juice, but the juice just seems to be sitting at the top, is this normal? 18 drops.

Over half of how many? Your taste buds will also adjust... bump up the nic level to get completely satisfied. Give it time. Find your groove. No "buts" about it... "buts" are for stinky smokes...

3/5 of the cowboys arnt burnt now. and 1 cowboy seems to have no juice. they didnt taste burnt at first.

And what type of battery are you using? 5 second cutoff? 10-13 second cutoff? Are the batteries fully charged? Did you try a few primer puffs?

Try the "spinning" method in the sticked thread at the top of the forum - you'll be able to get a lot more juice in. If you have a carto that doesn't seem right, I'd try rinsing it out with hot water, blow it dry (from the mouth end), then put a little juice in to see if it vapes OK before filling it completely.

battery in travel kit.. battery wasnt fully charged had been vaping for a bit yesterday.

Charge battery fully... twist cart on lightly... inhale... twist cart left and right until you find sweet spot (less air and more draw). If it still tastes burnt, cart is probably bad. Or, your taste buds could be mixing with subconscious cig taste-- out there, yeah-- have you tried any other flavors besides tobacco? If not, do that... you will never go back.

they added peach and tequila to the order... those were very tasty and seem to be working properly compared to the others.

Just to avoid any confusing advice here- if you are tasting anything burnt, don't keep trying to use it or try to rescue the burnt carto. Once they're burnt they're through.

But don't worry! You can refill a good carto many times. Long enough to last you until you get replacements.

Sounds like you got some bum cartos, if you just mention it on your next order the guys will take care of you!
