I'm so glad I found this forum! I've read a lot in the past few hours and here's my hello posting.
I tried one of the $10 disposables a couple years ago and it tasted HORRIBLE! Like burning plastic. I got a menthol one too. Bleech. Never again I said.
But I recently got 2 Metro 1.8% starter packs. One of us smokes menthol, one traditional. They're wonderful! We both really enjoy them and it's cut down on our analog cigs by a huge amount. It's been about a week and I'm at the point where I need to order some carts for these metros or try something else. I'd PREFER something that's not $3-4 per cart so I'm looking around.
Is the Halo a good choice for a first-timer using smoke juice? Are refillables hard for an elderly person to use?
We both smoke "light" cigs, and I'd like suggestions for lighter-flavored options. One thing I ran into when I went to RYO is that since I smoke menthol that translates to "Newport" in everyone's book. Heavy as a brick with enough menthol to turn your teeth green. "Traditional" means Marlboro Red. Both of us smoke ultra-light cigs so that heavy uber-baccy flavor is not what we're after in a cig.
If I try the Halo G6 would a lighter falvor be torque, tribeca, malibu, turkish?
I'd like opinions on which flavors to try, and what refilling systems are easiest to use. I want to duplicate the taste of Metro (menthol and traditional) since we're both using it happily just now.
