My wife and I had both been using our Kanger Pro tanks for 3 days and we both thought they where great. Excellent wicking and flavor. I think it's better than the Iclear 30 which I also had been trying out. The only down side to the Pro tank is it's HEAVY, the glass is very thick but that didn't stop it from breaking when it slipped out of my pocket in my house. I'm sooooo bummed ........I hope a polycarbonate version is made

Oh nooo! I'm waiting to get mine when my local supplier gets them in. You know that polycarbonate will crack/react with acidic ejuices. That's why I was so excited when I heard the Pro Tank was made with glass.

Where I am
That blows... I broken a few glass tanks in my days. A Phiniac & another type. I do have a protank headed my way. I hope it's all it's cracked up to be.

Holy-what-the-hey!?! You broke a Phiniac!?! How, pray-tell, did that come about.

To stay on point I am looking forward to trying the beautiful Pro-Tank, and I hope it holds up.

I had just washed it out real good & was putting the caps back on & it shattered. Kinda a freak thing actually. I was bummed.

I live in Florida so we have tile floors through the whole house and it just dropped out of my shorts pockets and KA-BOOOSH and maybe a KA-POW!! ..... anyway I really enjoyed the vape from it I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get another. I did get an Evod and it flooded constantly. We are going to have to invent some kind of Pro Tank padding you slip over the outside

I have 2 on the way...so excited. I love the idea of a protective sleeve....hmmmmm? Pyrex is so tough too.

Well I'm sure it is not really "Pyrex" which is a brand name that is appearently licensed out to other companies now. Corning who owns the brand name doesn't even make the stuff anymore

Pyrex - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

From reading that article, it looks like the newer real pyrex stuff is made differently and is from soda lime glass instead of the traditional Borosilicate glass because it does not break less when dropped....

The tell tale of the newer soda lime glass is the blueish tint.

I wonder if wrapping the glass with vinyl would help mitigate the breaking when dropped, of course then you couldn't see the liquid level, but you could cut a evod style viewing window into it..

I get mine next week from myvaporstore $18.69 less the 5% ecf coupon and I have the bottom peice of vinyl from my jwrap that I do not plan to use on my vamo because I only use the 18350 batteries.

Come to think of it, that might be really cool... A jwraped vamo already shows stainless then the wrap then stainless again.. with the protank it would be another stainless section, then the wrapped glass matching the vamo and then stainless again...

Jwraps are easily removed so I might just have to play with this idea..

The glass has a curved, bulbous shape that would be almost impossible to wrap (neatly) with vinyl. Regardless, I doubt a sticker would prevent breakage anyhow.
