Owned for 1 hour before Protank broke at the threads.
I twisted the ProTank onto a Vamo, it broke in two really easily!
Threads are still in the Vamo, used a toothpick to spin them back out.
Tank is completely useless now![]()
I have 4 and have not had any problems. I dropped one on tile from about 4 feet and it was fine. If it would have landed different or been attached to the PV it may have been a different story. It is thick glass but it's also heavy and if attached to a PV even heavier. It is durable but it is glass so it will break, just not any easier than any other thick glass.
I notified them fast, that's for sure!Tell your vendor about this, many replace them. This is equivalent to DOA...
Just noticed that I have a crack in one of mine. It seems to only be on the inside as I can't feel anything on the outside of the glass. I noticed it when I took it out of a 5 min soak in hot water. The water was boiling hot when I poured it into a bowl with the parts I was cleaning. Don't know if the hot water cracked it or not, but I have always cleaned my clearo parts this way.
Spoke too soon in my previous post. The hair line crack I have can be felt with a finger nail on the outside. It's not leaking though. Gonna at least vape the juice in the tank. I haven't dropped it, so I'm afraid the hot water may have cracked it. So much for Pyrex I guess. Be careful.
Hey is that Arnold palmer from Copper creek? Was thinking of trying it how is it?I notified them fast, that's for sure!
Was Tee'd Off and in the rough, I couldn't vape the Arnold Palmer I just pored into it (aka Dimi T) - play on words for the Golfers out there, lol
I Gotta say, it did vape nice for a short while tho![]()
Glass I'd boiled or heated over long periods of time can possibly crack and break, but is rather unusual to happen, but when I was a baby as I'm sure many here our moms fed us using Glass baby bottles boiled to sterilize them, but then cooled and warmed with our milk in them and sometimes yes they cracked. I've had this happen while warming for my own daughter when she was a baby, now 26.
The properties of glass change while being heated, I've worked with glass for 37 years now and heat well change it, however it usually takes high temps but even windows can become a bit tempered and brittle over time, depending on how they were first made.
So I wouldn't boil GLASS..... Even though I consider Glass to be a green friendly safe product u can still be harmed with it if misused.
