when I was originally looking at going with an e-cig, I had no idea where to look at. my bartender friends went and got their own which I have no idea what they use, but for comparison sake they use a system similar to the trinktons.

well fast forward a year later, I finally decided I HAD to quit smoking analogs. the smokes were finally doing damage to my internally. smokes have always gave me this stomach ache feeling and having high blood pressure, made me feel lazy or gave me this "high" that new smokers get when they smoke (im sure fellow ex smokers know what im talking about).

ill be honest in that im finishing my last few analogs because no one wants them and id hate to see money wasted. but its been a few days since I took a hit of one and I do notice the difference.

I know a lot of folks have given me advice to use other products, and bigger tanks, but I feel uncomfortable with doing this at this time and I feel this system is perfect for us smokers who fall under the "smokes when drunk" and "I smoke a pack every 2 days".

my only regret is that I didn't get the demon red g6 lol. I went with the standard but other than that, great job and thanks for the quick fedex delivery. being that im saving money, I know that at first im going to spend more money on the prefilled but I want to try the refillable once I get comfortable (im on a budget, so im hoping I can make a 5 pack last me longer lol)

anyways, thank you all (especially those who gave me advice in the new members section). My new goal is to convince friends who smoke to quit, and I will do my best to recommend this great product.

Welcome, and good choice to start with the G6! I have a rainbow of G6 colors, and I have a few of the Tritons as well, but I still use my G6's daily. I stopped using them for awhile when I got my first Triton, but I have recently rediscovered how great the G6 performs and I'm back to using them everyday.

you know, I decided to pull out the white tip from a prefilled once I had finished it. I was curious to see what was under it. however, when closing it, I might have pushed it accidently too far in. the white cap is now deeper than the cartomizer itself lol.

so I might hold off on doing my own fillings. it sucks because I want to try this menthol X, but im nervous of opening and having this happen again

unbend a paperclip and pry it out. as long as you dont tear the mouthpiece, it'll be fine. i've done that countless times to my cartos, they rubber ends will pop right out.

you may also consider minitanks, they work on both the G6 and the Triton and are pretty easy to maintain as well.

And you can buy a drip tip. They make it look cool. And they are metal, and to me always feels cool. It replaces the little cap.
(You can prolly get them at lots of places and other materials.)
Wheezal's Minitank idea is great, too. And both would be totally reusable and less than a pack of smokes.

Welcome Ichihax!! I love my G6's. I use the drips tips like Dave posted above and like Wheezal said just use a paperclip and pop that baby right outta there.

Refilling is so easy don't be afraid to do it. Just hold the carto at an angle and add 5 to 10 drops at a time to the filler avoiding the center tube. You may need to sit it down and let it soak up the juice before adding more, different juices soak in at different rates defending on how thick they are. A fresh new blank carto will hold 20-25 drops for the first filling then I just top them off at night. After refilling I let them sit battery side down on the table to make sure I don't have any leaks from overfilling. If I did overfill I just clean the battery end with a q-tip and sometimes I'll blow air through the battery end of the carto with a kleenex on the other end to catch any excess juice out of the center tube.

What mg nicotine are you vaping? One pack every 2 days I would think 12mg would be just right for you. I love the menthols and Tribeca and when I started I used to smoke almost 2 pack a day and I started with 18mg but I really needed 24mg. I'm just now trying to go down to some 12mg but not all.

Plus you can always buy the Demon Red G6 later or perhaps someone will gift you one.

If you are just starting to quit the bad cigs, I'd recommend you keep your nicotine levels pretty high.

18-24mg. As long as you are not getting over nic symptoms you are probably doing it right. Too little nic and you might find yourself straying back to the cancer sticks.

Systems like the G6 deliver about 1/3 as much nicotine as an analogue cigarette.

Time enough to drop your nic levels after you are off the stinkies and solidly comfortable with vaping.

If you like Mint, Mystic is like Menthol Ice with a little less ice and little more mint, very good. Coolmist has even more mint but still Icey. Kringle's Curse is so good just like a candy cane to me so good and I don't like candy canes. LOL

The G6 was instrumental in my quitting the real thing.

You'll have to try filling your own carts, I really haven't found any prefilled that I like at all. It's simple to do. I still carry a G6 around, even though I've moved on to bigger mods, I love a low resistance cartomizer with 24 mg Tribecca. Knocks my socks off, in a good way.
