Loving the twisted coil!

Tried a single 28 1ohm twisted in my magma this morning and am loving it! I'd been favoring parallel coils, but I think this is the one for me!

I've also got a Marquis and Origen. Should I try a single twisted in those too? Or do those really need to have dual verticals in them?

By all means try a twisted single coil in your Origen. It works nice.

Ahh! I read single 28 twisted as in you twisted a single piece of Kanthal around a jig then wrapped a coil from it. Guess that would be a spiral coil.

I'm using twisted 28 in my Plume Veil, works wonders. .5 ohms with dual coils for blowing clouds, switched to single coil at 1.0 when I realized how much juice and battery power I was going through

28 gauge twisted single coil is one of my faves in the magma. I never tried it in my marquis. 26 gauge dauls in there. No reason that you can't give it a try. I'm sure it will be great.

Update: put single twisted 28 horizontal in the Origen and love it so much more than the dual vertical non twisteds I had in there before.
Put in a single vertical twisted in the Marquis as well and am loving that one too. Up next: dual twisteds!
