I had the worst luck with those tanks. Make sure the coil is snug but don't over tighten any part of the tank. Just snug. Make sure to clean out the 510. A drop of juice leaked into it will cause the short also
it means coils/tank or rda. usually when it read low/no/short atomizer it's due to 2 things the contact pins not touching which will likely read in a short/no atomizer or the coils not screwed in which will also usually read in a no/short atomizer. make sure the coils are screwed in and then also make sure they were not clipped off as you can clip them off by screwing too tight. by clipped off I mean you screwed them on so tight that the coil was cut off.
low atomizer can mean the same if not screwed on tight enough or if you built your coils to a low ohm which your device cannot fire down to. I suggest unscrewing the tank/rda clean the contact pins with some paper towels just incase juice leaked in them screw it back on see if it will fire. if not try another tank. if that tank does fire or if you don't have another tank remove your coils and build a new set and that should fix it.
You are probably not getting solid electrical contact. Could try:
Purchase Eleaf 510 to eGo Thread Adapter (Connector) by iSmoka
And Or
Purchase some dielectric grease from an auto parts store. I use a light coat on contacts and threads which helps promote electrical contact.
Before you try any of that other nonsense try swapping out the coil. You may simply have a bad coil in the tank, which is FAR more likely than having some mystery poor electrical contact that can be fixed with grease or needs an adapter.
