Hello everybody, my name is João Paz, portuguese, and i'm new at this.
Starting vaping to quit smoking and it's working fine.
Started with simple equipment kits, but now i have a Vamo V7 30W, with a Aerotank V2 and the experience is getting better every day.
I have problem, and i need help from those who really know about the stuff.
I read that the V7 30W can use coils down to 0.8 homs and decided to change from my 2.4 to 1.2. But it won't fire and keeps showing low Ohms.
Bought a new battery, Samsung INR18650 25R, but still nothing.
Can anyone help me, please.
Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply.
It does reads the Ohms.
I tried a 1.0 ohms and it read 1.2. Tried with a 1.2 and read 1.6.
Do you think a need a new battery or the Vamo V7 30W doesn´t work with lower than a 1.8, that i use and that reads 1.9?

there are vamo's made in different factories that can be different.

this one listed at fasttech
$21.90 VAMO V7 Variable Voltage / Wattage APV Mod - brass (silver chromed) / 3.0-6.0V / 3.0W-30.0W at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
lists the ohm range as 1.0 to 5.0 ohms
So my guess is your vamo won't fire a 0.8 ohm coil.

I know on my vamos, sometimes they will show 0.7 or 0.8 ohms on the screen and not fire, because mine don't fire below 1.2 (I have a v3 and a v5).
So I am surprised yours does not at least show 0.8 or 0.9 on the display screen even if it won't fire.

I never tried .8. I tried only 1.2 and 1.0. Every forum i read said that it won't fire sub-ohms, so i never went that way. But i was hoping to use at least 1.2ohms coils.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Sounds as if a screw has backed out or you have a short.

Hi, i have seen the specification for a Vamo V7, that noted :

* Variable wattage: Adjustable from 3W to 30W in 0.5W increments
* 1.5-5.0 Ohm atomizer resistance is Ok!
* On/Off Mode allows you to shut the device off completely

this may apply to your device and therefore give you the "Low Ohms" reading.. when trying lower than the 1.5 - 5.0 ohm range.
