Hi!
The Mrs. liked my MVP2 so much she bought one and is using up the last of her cigarettes! Another convert to vaping!

One thing; both the iClear30 and the CE4 that we have are a little too tall for her purse.

Can anyone recommend a tank with a lower profile? She doesn't vape much at work during the day, so the tank must have some capacity but not a whole lot. When she gets home I will switch her out to the big tank or whatever. (I do all her juicing and maintenance - part of the deal I made her.)

This low-profile tank needs to be rebuildable and inexpensive. All I have is 30-gauge Kanthal and can't get anything else.

Thanks!

i don't know if this is easily rebuildable, but take a look at the Joye Ego CC. that's what i use to toss in my work bag or pocket. It's held up substantially better than the kanger tanks, and i have yet to have one leak. the heads also seem to last longer on them.

I'll make a quick alternative suggestion: what I most often throw in my bag for using outside is this very inexpensive short eGo T type (no variable voltage) from Fasttech. It's 1300mAh, but just 3.5 inches tall; add a skirted tank like a mini Protank or a CE4 and a shorty drip tip, and it's only 5.5 inches tall altogether -- and very light. It works really amazingly well for a very inexpensive battery, and if I manage to lose it, NBD. I have three of these because they're that handy.

I don't know of any tanks that would be significantly shorter than that one, but I may be able to offer a different solution. I use this $2.49 battery case to carry tanks with me during the day in my pocket - you can fit 2 full size clearomizers like the iclear 20 or protank and a small one like the mini protank, along with a couple of drip tips or whatever other little things you want to carry in there. It's about the size of a pack of cigarettes.

If you want a rebuildable tank in low profile then look no further than a Kayfun Nano.

Crap ... I feel bad. I love all the suggestions! But I'm a knucklehead and forgot to mention: Must be glass!

I'm so sorry about that. We recently cracked our tanks with banana juice. Got to have glass from now on.

:(

don't feel bad. i'm sure a decent chunk of the people viewing the thread have a similiar question, and might not have the glass requirement

The Kayfun gives you the option of using a stainless steel or clear plastic tank. However, they do NOT use polycarbonate like other cheap clearos use, so they do not crack like polycarbonate tanks do. I've used several "tank cracking" juices including banana in my Kayfuns and have never had a problem with the tanks.

Or, if you want, there are pyrex glass tanks made for the Kayfun, but you'll have to buy them separately.
