I've been wondering about the resistances for kr8 cartos as well. The LRs from LiteCig are the only ones that list their resistance (2 ohms), but they do not mention the resistance for their premium cartos. V4L and Bloog do not mention resistances either. Does anyone know what they are?
The Bloogs operate at 2.9-3.2ohms -but, again, I can't stress this enough - they behave like an LR or 2ohm carto with the durability of a 3ohm carto - the V4L WOW cartos are LR, not sure of the spec but the typical LRs run at 2 -2.2ohms. I've used the WOW cartos before and they were ok, but I still preferred the premium soft caps from LiteCigUSA that are 3ohm. LiteCigUSA also has LR 808 cartos that I haven't tried -
The lower the ohm rating, the shorter the overall life of a carto and you're going to use a lot more juice is what I have found. The LR cartos also have another issue: they WILL burn the polyfill and, not eventually, but the moment you first start using them. Must keep the wick moist with the LRs lest you be tasting charcoal.
The Bloogs are definitely worth it - because they have been completely redesigned and represent the latest in 808 tech. The coil is shielded and can't burn the fill unless you vape well beyond the dry out point where you're not getting any vapor at all.
I absolutely agree with the fact that Bloog is overcharging customers for shipping at this point -- I have let customer service know of my dissatisfaction with this as well. I'm hoping they will change, specially on domestic shipping. This is an area where we all have a voice and if they hear it enough from those that order from them, I don't think they'll have a choice but to drop their shipping prices to remain competitive.
OTOH, I don't have to buy as much because these cartos last a great deal longer than other vendors because of their new design.
