Anyone uses one? Any suggestion which is a good one?

I have been vaping the kr808 using regular pre filled cartomizers from vapor4life. For me, it is just not enough, but I really like the kr808 cartomizers, easy to put on, easy to refill. So i am thinking maybe a low resistance cartomizer can help?!?

Any advice or suggestion?

I don't think it's a mystery to anyone here - I prefer the MaxxFusion cartos from BloogPlanet - by far the best. Check out the review thread 'Bloog Cartos anyone?' I've used everything from LR to Premium to V4L WOW and cool cartos..., these IMHO are the reigning champs...

Thanks PapaBloog, i will try some of those..

So you like them that much you make it part of your nickname?

LOL! Not really - I assumed the nick after I posted my first review/blog EVER and was met with some pretty harsh sarcasm -- someone called me GrandpaBloog - and, well, since I'm not THAT old yet - (but within Papa range) -- the name stuck!

BTW, I used to be a user of the V4L WOW cartos -- too 'airy' for me...

I don't think cartos are the wow, what I got was fine but when I finally got my ego to compare with, the kr8 immediately became the backup. Not saying the ego is necessarily better than the kr8, since the juice I use with the ego is 100%VG, and knowing I like the look of the kr8 and the ease of use, I want to experiment more with it and then determine if the ego is in fact better.

I'm not an impartial vaper now having found my sweet spot with Bloog along with my wife - I vape a 70/30 blend on my refills and am now at the phase where I'm trying different flavors and nic strengths. With that said, the Bloog cartos are the best - with my backups the premium (3ohm) soft caps from LightCigUSA.net.

I am currently using Boge LR cartomizers from litecigusa. They are roughly 2 ohm, pack of 5 for $7.95. Do NOT use these on regular KR8 batteries! They should only be used on a 450 ohm or higher devise or else you'll be risking damaging your battery. I use these on my PigCig from lecig. There is quite a noticeable difference when using these compared to regular cartos. Much more vapor and throat hit. They do burn through juice quicker and you want to make extra sure to top them off often to avoid them drying out and burning the filler. I try not to use them too much, because I can see them ruining regular resistant cartos for me lol , and I still like my smaller KR8 batteries when I'm out and about.

So papaBloog, maybe i have missed it on their website i just cant find it, do you know how many ohms are the Bloog?

I was told that they operate from 2.9 - 3.2v - but, these cartos are different. They 'feel' like an LR Carto but 'last' like a premium softcap+; i.e., they have better life on fewer drops, and with the proper care and feeding, last so much longer than the softcaps I used to buy. Been vaping on a 5-set in rotation now for 3+ weeks because my reinforcements are stuck in snail mail hell. Almost as good as the day they arrived. These cartos were redesigned specifically at Bloog and are so burn resistant, I think they'll last another week...

I've been wondering about the resistances for kr8 cartos as well. The LRs from LiteCig are the only ones that list their resistance (2 ohms), but they do not mention the resistance for their premium cartos. V4L and Bloog do not mention resistances either. Does anyone know what they are?

The Bloogs operate at 2.9-3.2ohms -but, again, I can't stress this enough - they behave like an LR or 2ohm carto with the durability of a 3ohm carto - the V4L WOW cartos are LR, not sure of the spec but the typical LRs run at 2 -2.2ohms. I've used the WOW cartos before and they were ok, but I still preferred the premium soft caps from LiteCigUSA that are 3ohm. LiteCigUSA also has LR 808 cartos that I haven't tried -

The lower the ohm rating, the shorter the overall life of a carto and you're going to use a lot more juice is what I have found. The LR cartos also have another issue: they WILL burn the polyfill and, not eventually, but the moment you first start using them. Must keep the wick moist with the LRs lest you be tasting charcoal.

The Bloogs are definitely worth it - because they have been completely redesigned and represent the latest in 808 tech. The coil is shielded and can't burn the fill unless you vape well beyond the dry out point where you're not getting any vapor at all.

I absolutely agree with the fact that Bloog is overcharging customers for shipping at this point -- I have let customer service know of my dissatisfaction with this as well. I'm hoping they will change, specially on domestic shipping. This is an area where we all have a voice and if they hear it enough from those that order from them, I don't think they'll have a choice but to drop their shipping prices to remain competitive.

OTOH, I don't have to buy as much because these cartos last a great deal longer than other vendors because of their new design.

Interesting post papabloog. Yeah I was wondering about burning the polyfill with these LR cartos. I've ran about 8 ml through one and it still tastes fine but I am keeping it very wet. After 10 ml I plan on retiring that one and taking out the filler for an inspection. If it look pretty burned up I'll stick to the LR 901 atomizer I have coming for my LR vaping.

I really do want to try the Bloog cartos but it's hard to justify spending $18 for 5 of them when I can get 10 premium Boge cartos for less then that. Hopefully they will lower shipping to a more reasonable amount so those of us with limited funds will want to try them out. As far as quality I've heard nothing but good things about them.
