Low throat hit - high Vapor

Any suggestions on a flavor and mg strength that would give me a lower throat hit but still good amount of vapor? I am still a newbie and I think what I ordered is too strong for me. I find it painful to take a long drag as it hurts my throat.

I ordered the Cowboy 24mg carts. THANK GOD V4L was nice enough to add in a few freebies I have been trying each of those out and they are a bit easier on my throat. I smoked Marlboro lights so I am used to really not tasting or feeling anything on my throat.

I got some 18mg menthol varieties and the throat hit is a bit much for me, too. I have the 8mg white choc strawberry carts and they are smooth and delicious and I can inhale. My favorite of the sweet variety so far (compared with coffee, vanilla, and strawberry).

Thanks critterbug, I guess on my next order I should lower the mg from 24 to 16 or even lower. White choc strawberry sounds delicious! I will add that to my list!

Coffee,pineapple,and cappucino in 18mg have stronger throat hit,the new carmel frappacino is pretty good too.I think any lower mg like 11 or less will be lighter on your throat.Keep the higher mgs cuz you may change your mind later.

Hi Michelle; you started pretty strong. The nic level has alot to do with the throat hit you get. If you want pretty low throat hit 11m or lower should do pretty nice. Medium levels like 16 -18m still have a descent throat hit and it doesn't seem to effect the flavor. Watch going to low in nic levels as this might increase your cravings for analogs. Some flavors like pear seem to have very little throat hit. I like a strong thoat hit so I can't help you much more than this. Maybe some else can recommend some low throat hit flavors. You might want to wait and see if it's just adjusting to vaping instead of smoking, two months in cartos that hit me hard now feel smooth to me. It took me a few days to get used to the difference myself.

Thanks all, I added your suggestions to my list for my next order. I will be ordering again at the end of next week and look forward to trying the lower nic levels. I did get a strawberry 18mg free with my order and have been using that since the white choc strawberry suggestion. Thanks for that this cart is much easier on my throat.

Taryn- I hope it is also an adjustment period too. Almost all my carts and liquid from my original order are 24mg and 5 of the carts are Cowboy which is painful right now.

I vape all day, so i kept lowering my level till i got to 4/6mg, it keeps me ticking over and now i don't even really want a throat hit, even smoking an 8mg cola cart the other week was a bit much for heavy drags lol, if i vape an 11mg i can really notice the flavor loss compared to a 4mg now.

Try 11mg and 18mg and see how you get on with those...

This is more true than I realized. I've been vaping exclusively for about a month after smoking for many years. Everyone said that my perception of Throat hit and sense of taste would change dramatically. They were more right than I thought. What hit me hard that first week now doesn't phase me and and my choice of flavors has changed dramatically. Just keep doing whatever keeps you off the cigs and in time your body will let you know what is right for you in terms of Strength and Flavor.

I got White Chocolate Strawberry- yum yum!
Peanut Butter Cup- Painless and really peanut buttery
Caramel Mocha Frap- Taste more coffee than caramel or mocha but my taste buds don't work. And I like the taste of them.

And my biggest surprise:
Parliaments!: I ordered this box for my BF cause that is what he smokes. I had to steal two. I don't know if it is the different tobacco flavor, or the lower nic but I really enjoy them. No more Cowboy for me in the future.

Also got my new green case and Pink Battery!

Sample flavors I am saving so I can have this huge Smile again in a few days. I love trying new stuff!

Glad that you found a flavor you like I started at 18mg and didnt want to try anything to strong. the throat hit on these are a little rough but I got used to them and are pretty good. im still trying to find a flavor that can be my daily vap. But from what I read its not easy to do lol

Right now I think I am going to find it impossible to stick to just one flavor! I have 14 so far. I haven't tried 3 of them yet. The only one I know I probably won't reorder again in the future is Cowboy. But hey, I might like it better in lower Nic or after my sense of taste returns.
