Low Throat Hit Menthol for new quitter

Hi Menthol'ers

My ex- hub is a new quitter. I am getting him set up with a vape rig but the one thing I am not up on is Menthol juice...and menthol juice with low TH. I would like to start him at 18mg (but that may add to the problem) He has vaped my 60p/40v 12mg juice and had no issues.

He used to smoke Kool Milds and now American Spirit Menthol....

Check this out...LOL His doc told him to start vaping!!! YAY!!!

Please only ex-Menthol users who have successfully found their daily vape respond.

Requirements:
Lower PG
Not much TH
Nic 12 to 18 MG

Do you guys do menthol tobacco flavor in your menthol, straight menthol?

Looking for a few to try until he finds the one he likes best.

If you hubby did fine with the 12mg, why do you want him to go up to 18mg? The nicotine is what adds the throat hit. Now if he is still having cravings, I agree the additional nic maybe need to keep those at bay. Love the fact that the doctor suggested vaping and hope that this will turn into a regular recommendation from the medical community. Good luck to you.

Because he tried my rig...he is not yet vaping and is a pack to two a day smoker for 45 years....I don't think 12 is going to do it for him until he has vaped a while. He only took a few vapes on my rig. When I say he was fine with 12 I mean it did not bother his throat but I do not think it will be enough to keep him off once he starts vaping. Do you have a menthol suggestion?

Menthol has its own type of throat hit, seperate from the nicotine throat hit.

I was a strict menthol smoker.. I mean to the point where, if I had to bum a smoke from someone and it wasn't menthol(hell, if it wasnt MY brand menthol), I would go without smoking. Regular cigarettes to me were as disgusting and vile as I now realize the entire habit is.


My favorite menthol vape, is from Mad Alchemist, Winters Bite. Its menthol with hints of vanilla. Very common combo.. the vanilla is basically invisible, it just softens up the edges so its not so sharp and biting.

However, just becuz hes a menthol smoker doesn't mean he'll like menthol vapes. I didnt like menthol vapes until I had already been vaping for a while and decided to try them again. Just saying, there is a world of liquid out there, try everything you can.

I am sorry, I did not understand. I did not know he was not vaping yet. Yes 18mg would probably do best. That is what I started out on and I use to smoke that much. I love menthol but I make my own with 50/50 menthol crystals and Everclear. It disolves and I just add a drop to one of my 6ml bottles. Perfect for me but is what I consider a stronger menthol. Since he likes menthol, I also add Koolada (a additive that adds coolness but not mintiness) to a lot of my juices and am very happy with them. I look forward to reading about how well he is doing. I just love vaping. I think even more than I use to smoking. Sorry again that I misunderstood.

I have let him try about seven of my flavors...he says he wants menthol. I am sure he will change after a while. I did. But new vapers...lol...you know the drill. Thanks for the suggestion!

No worries thanks for the diy suggestions...if I ever get to doing that I will try it. I just ordered all his stuff today. As soon as I figure out some good trial juices, he'll be vaping.

One that I know has a good menthol is Halo Sub-Zero. My Fiancé uses that one and she used to smoke Newport, and anything menthol. She has been smoke free as long as have.

I was going to try the halo sampler kit...but they don't give the pg/vg ratio. The throat hit bothers him a little. Have you vaped hers? Does it kick?

to me it tastes like a buttermint(after dinner mints) but with a REALLY nice, smooth menthol.
