Hi again I have time now and after I gather all your information I think you will need to lower nic intentionally now. Your old device is e-lectron L using 2.4ohm C2 atomizer. Now you step up to use 1ohm. You probably need to lower nic strength from 12mg/ml to 6 or 9 mg/ml.
We are in the same route. I was in 9mg/ml at 2.2ohm for 1.5 years and step up to Ego One 1ohm. I have to lower nic to 4.5mg/ml to feel comfortable.
2.4ohm give less vapor than 1ohm because it use less wattage power (energy) to fire. You can see from joytech info as the example: output wattage is 20W-30W(0.5ohm head); 10W-15W(1.0ohm). The sub ohm 0.5 will need double power and this power transfer to heat coil and from heat transfer to vapor. Double power mean double vapor in single draw. That mean you get double nic amount as well.
You body now consume 24mg of nic per day because you use nic strenth 12mg/ml for 2 ml per day. When you lower nic strength to let say 6mg/ml your body will require 4ml to get what it uses to be.
This is roughly calculation don't take it seriously. Your body will tell you what it need and suitable for you.

I thought the device was partly responsible but also, I used my Electron L with 10 mg juice, that tank is 1.5 mls, slightly smaller than this one, and only vaped 3/4 of that in a day. So idk. It was happening with the Electron too. Yes it does seem more apparent now on the ego tho. You're right. Should have mentioned that.
Did order 6 as well as 3 mg today. Got priority shipping so hopefully it comes soon!

I think until it is stable in next week you can calculate by yourself how much nic you need per day. You tank is 1.8, today you only take half so it is only 1ml of 12mg/ml = 12 mg of nic for today. Lower nic strength is not telling the whole story. If your goal is to lower nic, then you need to know also how much ml you consume. Good luck in transition of quit smoking. EC help me through smoothly and confortably. You will then realise you are much healthy. Nic is not really bad if it not associated with tobacco conbustion. So when you quit smoking it is actually aready mission accomplished. To lower nic later on is as your desire.

Yeah so I'm new at this but I do know how much ml I consume. Right? Tank = 1.8 mls. If I consume one tank full with no refills a day, that's 1.8 mls of juice a day I have consumed, yes? I understand what I absorb ultimately might be different based on equipment but I still know, visually from looking each night at how full or empty my tank is and knowing I never refilled it all day, how much I consumed. Or am I not understanding you? Sorry, I am trying! In any case my plan is to try to consume the same amount of juice per day. Or rather, since it's hard to exactly vape the same amount each day (well, harder than cigarettes you can count out, for me any way) I figure I'll just give myself an "allowance". Like, I am "allowed" to use up to a full 1.8 ml tank a day but if I use less some days, good for me. Know what I'm saying? So I figure 6 mg is good. By your calculations that's 10.8 mg of nic per day. Less if I don't finish the tanks worth. I hope I'm making sense. Harder to explain by typing than if I could speak this out loud lol

Let say when you change coil from 2.4ohm to 1ohm you will find your self need to lower nic strength by half to avoid nic sick.
And when you change nic strength from 12mg/ml to 6mg/ml, you will find yourself need to consume double ml to satisfy your nic. I think you get me now.
If I were you I will not set any goal yet. Just try to get through it smoothly and confortably.

Hey you're worrying too much :D
Just vape what satisfies you... Try different Nic levels and use what works for you. I vape 2 to 3 ml a day and slowly lowered my Nic level down from 24mg to 18 mg and will eventually go lower, have some 12mg, and mix. The folks that subohm take in a lot more juice and vapor so have to use much lower Nic than a tootle puffer like me and to get equivalent total daily Nic. I prefer less vapor.
