LR 510 atty vs 510 atty

Sorry if this was asked already...I couldn't find a post on it.

What is the difference between the LR 510 atty Vs a 510 atty? are they the same? can they both be used with an ego battery?

I'm looking to buy some back ups but after looking and found the two I'm not sure what to get now...

I have used both regular and LR atty's and find the LR's to give better vapor and more TH. They can both be used on the eGo battery. The difference is the amount of current used. The LR seems to draw batteries down a bit quicker, it also heats up quicker. That's why it produces better vapor and TH. At least that's my opinion. I'd recommend you get an LR and give it a try. You may like it, you may not, but it's a cheap experiment.

LR Attys are Low Resistance and are used to simulate higher volatage vaping. You can use them with the EGO/Riva or larger Mah batteries but I wouldn't go any smaller. They draw more battery power and could stress smaller batteries like a 510, etc. They will somewhat reduce time in between charges due to the higher draw. They also burn hotter thus in general don't last as long in comparison to reg atties. If you're looking for backups buy both and see which you prefer. Some swear by them and they do increase vapor production and bring out the flavor in some juice more although I prefer some juices better with a reg atty as with most things in vaping it's preference.
