LR Atomizers & Cartomizers With Standard Battery?

Is it unsafe to use the LR atomizers and cartomizers with a standard Joye 510 battery? Or will it just make the battery life shorter and need charging much more frequently? I was just wondering because i was going to try one of the 2.2 ohms LR atomizers with my standard battery instead of the 3.1 ohms ones i have, but would prefer not to damage it in any way. Thanks for your help in advance.

I used LR's on my 510 when I first got it. You're not supposed to but I didn't know that and neither did my batteries. With that said, it isn't suggested. LR's drain your battery at a faster rate and it isn't good for it. In fact some people say it will kill your battery. It didn't happen to me, but it's just a possibility.

Using LR attys, because they draw more power, will shorten the life of your regular 510 batteries. They will draw about 30% more power.

A LR atty or carto will drain the battery quicker as banjo stated. Drain batteries aty that fast of a rate is what kills their total lifespan over time usually. If you want to try it for a small length of time I'd highly doubt that you would shorten the lifespan

I have tornado batteries (510) and ive been using LR ATTYS for around 4 months I havent had any battery issues yet and I dont think that I could ever go back to regular attys, IMO LR hits so much better it would be worth it to me to have a battery go out every once in awhile...........................................even though they havent
