Why don't you try an LR on a usb passthrough before paying for a mod? I have read on several forums that for higher voltage you need higher resistance. Basically the LR atty heats the liquid too much on a higher voltage. Heating the liquid too much just burns it, and some people might think it's got a better TH. Also there's a thread here you can search, and they discuss the fact that heating up VG above 280 C produces very toxic materials.

I don't like LR atomizers very much, and I'm not the only one.

I have a theory that people who like to take long drags don't like them.
That is my issue anyway, I take long drags and they make my juice taste burnt.

A lot of people, maybe most people, take a lot shorter drags.
And the LR works out great for them.

I may start a poll about this.

In order to use a lr atty, or any atomizer for that matter, on a passthrough, the usb passthrough MUST be connected to a wall adapter that is capable of at least 1 amp of current. 2 amps is better. A pc usb port cannot keep up with the current requirements of the atomizer, and if you would measure, the actual voltage under load (with the atomizer on, as in while taking a drag), you would find that it is significantly reduced.
