LR Atty diminished life?

OK so I got the EGO Mega with the LR mega atty but I've seen a few posts stating that the LR atty's have diminished life compared to regular atty's and they can also diminish the life of the battery. Any truth to this? If so I need to switch soon, I don't have the cash flow to be replacing this stuff frequently, especially the batteries.

LR atties do have a shorter life span. Sometimes they last 4 to 6 weeks, it happened to me with my LR 306 cisco & sometimes a few days....

It is not the actual atomizer that suffers.... the problem is they drain the battery in a certain way that will kill it.

LR's burn hotter so they don't last as long as a regular atty. If you love the LR's, I suggest that you purchase a true 3.7v device like the Icon from puresmoker. The MOSFET switch in your batteries can't take the voltage pull or heat from the LR's. Once dead, I don't think they can be repaired unless your are electronically inclined and have access to parts.

if your really crazy you could load one of these into your ego(theres some room inside of the housing)...ive killed about 4 ego batteries before i learned about the bull Shenanigans with the mosfet chips...so be nice to your pv and switch to regular attys/cartos
