I'm really digging these Eastmall LR 510s... but I've heard LR attys can wear batteries out quickly.

Is there any merit to this? If so I'll designate just one of my 14500s for LR use only.

Although I broke out the multimeter and the one I'm using came in at about 1.8ohms... so thats not too far off from a regular Joye 510.

Think the LR drains the smaller batteries quicker, since you're basicly amping up the power. I'd avoid using them in say a 5V PT, but main thing is to have the stamina to make that pony run.

I'm giving them a go on a 18500, cause 3.7 just seems weak if you use the same ohm rating in it and a 5v PT, but mine are 2.8 and 3.2, so 1.8 is basically another zip code at least I hope so.

They run your batteries down faster but not wear them out faster as such, they'll still charge just as many times. As for longevity I use them on my Kaji which I use a lot but have yet to have one die, on the other hand I've chewed through 6 normal 901's in a week running them at 4.6v on my Buzz (nothing's wrong with the Buzz).

Technically speaking this will speed up cycle times. If a battery is good for 300 cycles, you'll WEAR out a battery in a shorter TIME frame. These batteries could last for years chilling with a partial charge in the fridge and still be good to go when you want to fully charge them and head out the door.

Only other potential wear issue is since your draining them faster, you're also likely to be draining them to a lower level between charges. These batteries love partial discharges and charges vs draining it fully then charging overnight for example.

Get a battery/atty/carto combo that will keep up with your vaping style and everything should last much longer. Push the limits and you may become stranded with drained or dead equipment.

Hello, Good question...and for me yes, they technically wear 510/Ego batteries out quicker...mainly because you have to recharge them more when using the LR attys...
For me, this is okay...I love the better TH and Vapor I receive with the LR Atty...
verses the normal ones that I have bought...So, Yes, they would wear out the battery
faster...I have a 10 port charger for my 510s, and mostly use the LR attys on the 510...
My Ego batteries, I normally use normal attys...Just me....Enjoy the Adventure....
