Ok so i purchased a Riva 510 that came with 2 batterys and 2 attys. One of the attys was DOA so i emailed the company i bought it from and they sent me out a LR atty to replace the DOA one. The LR atty they sent me last me exactly one week. My wife and i have been sharing the riva together so without a second atty one of us is kinda dead in the water and i don't have the money to order a new one yet. Do LR attys always burn out much quicker than normal ones do?? The company recommended i keep putting about 8 drops on the LR atty i stuck around 6 or so any more and the batter would have juice on it... Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Oh and the LR atty doesn't seem to respond when i push the button at all....It doesnt warm up it doesn't crackle nothing.

LR attys typically do go under quicker than the standard ones, and there's every reason why they should. The vendor you're dealing with is correct in suggesting you keep these things wet with juice at all times, but I don't know about 8 drops. That's almost a certain flooded atty. Are you sure they meant all the time, or was it just when conditioning a new atty?

If your atty doesn't crackle, doesn't warm, doesn't produce vapor, it's a door stop.

1st always buy extras ( I am sure you understand why now ! ) also LR attys designed for low voltage like your Riva so you are using it the right way , not all attys are created equal so it can be hit and miss.

a regular attys should last a while , getting a DOA unit happens but it is not normal IMO , keep them wet but not dripping wet.

The EastMall LR510 attys are excellent, and are long lasting - I have 40 from them just to have spares, and I've been using the first one of the bunch for over a month without any problem, so the 40 I've bought are going to last me a really loooong time. I never clean it with any liquids, I just blow it out once or twice a day, and never let it dry out while vaping.

That's good to know i've been a little hesitant to buy them from there cuz my friend has a Riva 901 and his 901 LR attys are getting a bad burnt taste after about 4 days of use and he's going through them like water....

But for now just gotta keep the NO ANALOGS mindset and try to keep sharing this one with my wife and hope i can borrow some money from a friend or SOMETHING to get a new atty and maybe a backup within the next couple of weeks.......This is gonna be one hel of a challenge
