Just wanted to share my experience with the LR version so far. It's now going on 7 days and vaping like crazy, tons of vapor and good flavor, so far, the only cleaning I do is to blow it out from the batt end twice/day. I'm using mostly clear 70/30 pg/vg flavors. I'm tempted to give it a vodka and hot water cleaning but afraid it won't work as well afterwards, kinda like why fix it if it ain't broke! However, I don't want to wait until performance drops as it might be tougher to clean then. Any suggestions?

I have not had a lot of use out of my LR atomizers. I got my VV box mod right after I got them, and the only LR I've used is on an eGo battery. I have not modified a LR to fit on the box mod, and I've noticed my use of the eGo batteries has dropped precipitously.

For the regular atomizers, I cleaned them whenever I felt them start to draw tighter, or when I wanted to change to a flavor that wouldn't mix well with what I had in it. HOT water in the tank side, blow through. Repeat 10x. Block the main hole in the threaded end with your pinky for couple of times, to make sure the side hole is cleaned out. Then I soak it in PGA for at least an hour. Blow out thoroughly and let dry, or just use it immediately.

So far, I've only given one of my tank attys a hot water clean. it didn't seem to hurt it any. You're doing pretty much what I've done with mine. I blow them out between tanks and that's it. I've been rotating two standard tank attys for a few weeks. I did get a couple of LRs, but one popped almost immediately and the other was a leaker (I did fix the leaker, but I've only used it a couple of times since)

I'm with you: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The caveat is that I'm pretty confident that I can indeed fix it when it does break. I don't mind taking out the needle plate, replacing a wick, or even scraping crud off the coil with a spring hook. A couple of people have posted some very excellent "how-to's" and I happen to be mechanically inclined. - If you're someone who is willing to tear it down when it quits working properly, then no sweat. But, if you're not, then you should probably consider a cleaning regimen.

suggestions for cheapest LR tank atty? I didn't love the tank but it was actually a really good mega dripper and with an LR atty it could become a solid juice tester and on the spot mix test tube since it holds so many drops. and heck maybe i would win the lottery and it wouldn't leak and i could vape like mad for 3 weeks before buying somoething else.
