I'm not exactly new to ECigs so I'm wondering if my LR attys keep failing due to the vendor or my habbits? It's weird because my regular attys have lasted around 2 months without any issues and still going strong- yes my LR attys have all burned out within 3-4 days.

I dewick them and my cleaning routine is: clean in alcohol then warm water/blow out and safely dry burn after I blow the warm water out. For some reason all my LR attys have burned out within a couple days during use (all purchased from the same vendor)....

Ideas???

Today marks 22 days on my Joye LR306 atty. I use it for dripping, and use it all day long. I usually use them until they are burned up (only happens when I use 1 certain type of juice) or when they just stop working.

I did not wash this one once. I do a dry burn once per week. I ordered from Liberty Flights and have had great luck with their products.

I clean my LR's very rarely and I never do dry burns on them. I blow them out at least once a day, sometimes more if they need it. I make sure that they're wet the whole time I'm using them, so when the flavor changes vapor starts dropping off I add a couple of drops. Dry attys are dead attys. I don't modify them in any way because there really isn't a point. I've had a LR 510 atty almost as long as Godzilla and it's still going strong. In fact, I think it's a better atty than the one I just got last week!

Everything WOH said! Plus: What type of atty 510, 306, XXX ???? An LR is less forgiving than a standard atty. They run hotter and that puts more stress on the coil. If you can not place your finger on the atty body you are chain vaping it and running it too hot. Let it cool a bit in between vapes. I know this is hard since I killed a few when starting out in about 24hrs. Now they last over a month! You should also let it cool a bit before dripping cold liquid on a coil. This repeated thermal expansion and contraction causes fatigue in the metal element and can cause it to frature (just like bending a coat hanger back and forth till it breaks). Not sure why you dewicked? I never do anything to my LR's other than blow them out like WOH stated. Hope this helps

It's a 510.

Thanks for the information everyone- guess there is no reason to dewick (was told in the beginning dewicking makes the juices taste better!). I'll also stop cleaning them and just blow them out and not do ANY dry runs.

Appreciate all the advice!!! :)

I dont try and clean mine but I get about 2 weeks out of LR before they really start to fade away. Alcohol is good. I never use water to clean attys. Doesnt really help and seems to hurt more than it helps.. Imo.
