I picked up a couple of Bauway LR306 atomizers for my Grand. They seem good, maybe not great. I'm not overly impressed with the flavor I get. I think the 510 atty that comes with my Riva gives comparable flavor. I am impressed with the amount of vapor though. MASSIVE hits of vapor from this setup. I seem to be going through my juice QUITE QUICK. I don't vape non-stop, all day and I wouldn't really consider myself a "heavy vaper", but lately my juice consumption says different. I'm going through almost 3ml a day!

Now, using the comparisons that I've read in other threads, 1ml of 18mg juice is ABOUT a pack of smokes worth of nicotine. I used to smoke a pack of analogs a day. I'm just listening to my body when I vape and I REALLY DON'T feel like I'm getting 3 packs worth of nicotine.

Should I be concerned about the amount of juice I'm going through or just vape away and be happy?

I jumped up a bit in consumption when I moved to low resistance. I wouldn't be concerned unless you actually have symptoms of using too much nicotine.

From what I understand, just as not all the nicotine in a cigarette is delivered into a smoker, not all nicotine in juice is delivered to the vaper. In cigarette smoke, about 1/20th of the nicotine actually makes it to the bloodstream (a cigarette actually contains, on average, about 20mg of nicotine). I'm not sure what percentage of vaped nicotine is fully ingested, but I'm sure it's not even close to 100%.

As an example: I vape about 2.5ml of 24mg liquid per day. That would equate to 3 packs a day, but I was a 1 pack a day smoker of light cigarettes for 25 years.

Maybe with vaping, nicotine delivery is more efficient (I've seen it argued both ways), so I'm getting 1/3rd of the nicotine that I buy instead of 1/20th. What I'm sure of is that my vaping habits are much different than my smoking habits were, so it's difficult to pinpoint just how much I should be vaping to only compensate for my former smoking addiction.
