I dropped the P+16 and though there wasnt any damage to the casing that i could see, the locking button popped off and went who knows where..

found out when I went out and was in the car.
luckily I had the old P16, switched the posts and good to go, only thing I am missing would be the lock button, which i seldom used on this device

am sure it will pop up eventually

I assume you mean only the engraved "P" locking slide got lost, if so and you can't find it, we have spares.

You probably know this but since you still have the rhodium plated switch post, I am pretty sure that it will screw into the old style switch. I would at least check it out if you have not.

that was what i did, just replaced the post onto the old style switch..
actually i like it better, since the slider was polished and shiny and didnt match with the satin of the rest of the button
I never really used the locking feature

Just make a note in the comments sections you need one, i have a blem one you can just have.

done: that was scary... since all the email is grouped, it came in as part of all my other super T orders... i started to add them up, and stopped... only would depress myself

Still cheaper than i would have spent on smokes, but you usually dont have those receipts come into your inbox no regrets! I absolutely love my Precises
