I just wanted to let you know that if I lived close I'd donate some of my free time to help you get over the hump. I know how hard it can be running your own business. If you can regroup and surround yourself with positive people sooner rather than later things will come around. Good luck and keep your head up. You have a good start on a great business. Don't let it get away!!

I like supporting smaller start-ups on principal alone. As long as they provide good products and services, which Chris most definitely was trying. I feel his pains as well. I'm trying to get a small vape shop off the ground with basically 0 money. So his juices were a good fit with my limited budget. In this area, you are basically limited to $5 per 10ml because of other vape shops in the area. Me being located inside another business means limited exposure, on the plus side, I have no building rent, but pay 20% off the top to the main business. So, a supplier like L7 is paramount in making any profit.

Lucky 7 has been my main juice supplier for the last couple months mostly because I like the flavor and secondly the great value. The turnover time has been slow but I have learned to deal with that. I have thought many times as to why L7 is having difficulties and price comes to mind most often. I think L7 could raise prices and still be the best value I know of. Another thought I had was the number of options offered such as the number of flavors, bottle size, pg/vg ratios and bottle type. I would cut the options by about 50% and only offer what you can consistently sell and make profit with.
The bottom line is to operate efficiently, don't get too big too fast, make happen what you say will happen and build the business without biting off more than you can chew.

I sure hope Lucky 7 can make it happen.

I'm all for helping out somebody down on their luck but I'm confused. Exactly what were the circumstances that caused L7 to fold? From what I know (which ain't much :)), this was mainly self-inflicted. If you have a backlog or can't keep help, you simply just stop taking people's money and catch up. Why wasn't that done? I obviously don't know something or missed a post giving reasons why a venture goes belly-up because it has too much business. :)

I don't know that they have "folded", but their website says it is down for maintenance, and for quite a while they haven't been responding to anyone's emails. I have a pending order, so I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.

I looked at their page on Facebook, and there are a lot of really disgruntled people making comments.

I posted this a day or so ago, from the Lucky 7 Facebook page dated May 26. If some of you didn't see it, here it is again. It does NOT sound like they are closing their doors, just shutting down the website to get caught up.

"We don't get on here much guys, sorry for not replying to everyone. We are behind as usual. We will be closing the site down soon to get caught up. Two of our main employees quit which doesn't help things any. On the plus side, our new clean room should be completed in just a few days. I have already hired 2 more replacements and once we are able to use the new clean room our processing times will be down to 2-3 day processing."

Our country was built on and by people like Chris, and the small business he runs. I hope he can get the support he needs to keep things going. Starting a business these days is very difficult under normal circumstances, but with all that is going on in this industry, it must be horrifying to deal with all the possible road blocks and uncertainties in the near future.

GOD BLESS YOU
We are all pulling for you.
