Hello all, I've been a smoker since I was fifteen, switching from brand to brand but have always leaned towards Camel Crush after it was released. Switched to vaping on December 17th last year and threw out a nearly full pack, not thinking much of it after I had bought an eGo-C setup. Since then, I have not had one analog and the actual smell of tobacco smoke is becoming more noticeable to me. I'm happy I switched and now use an MVP2.
In only three months I have noticed that the e-cigarette community is like a sub-culture, a group of people with diverse interests and preferences and capacities to find what works for them and for others. I follow a few vaping channels on Youtube and while they aren't representative of everyone, they're some of the coolest people I've listened to, with advice specific to the hobby as well as their general personalities. I like the idea of switching parts around, building your own rig, testing and experimenting, developing personality and knowledge all at the same time. I've noticed that this forum has had tons of information to help me out before I joined. I've learned to appreciate patience with the practices involved in steeping and vapemail and all of those other things.
To be honest, I didn't ever really think I would be able to quit. I never believed I would be able to using a standard NRT and refused to on that matter. I understand that e-cigarettes are not and never have been cessation aids, and have never claimed to be, however, I must put a huge amount of appreciation for a simply designed invention that has helped me to breathe better, regain my energy, and change my perspective on how to live my life again.
Vape on, friends!
