Guess I'll add a little more info - here's what I've tried in my journey so far:

Started with the order of a Safecig after deciding to try ecigs after a happy hour and being guilty of buying another pack of cigarettes after "quitting" on and off for months. It was ok, nicotine was way too low (6mg) but gave me enough of a reason to think there was something to this ecig thing.

Did a little more research and found this site and then decided to try out the Bloog MaxxFusion. WOW. Huge difference and quit smoking within a week of having it and then proceded to order cartomizer pack after cartomizer pack to try everything under the sun. Still my "out in public" ecig and usually have it on me whenever I'm out and about.

Later decided to try out this 5 volt thing that everyone talks about and bought a Big Kazoo from Kalamazoo Vapor - awesome box mod, LOVE it. Still use it all the time but usually just at home or in my car.

Tried a 3.7 box mod (meh), a 510 standard battery (meh), at least 5 different types of clearomizer or tank systems (meh), and recently bought a variable voltage ego battery (pretty nice for LR cartos).

Still rocking the Bloog and glad I found it so early in my buying spree but always looking for something new. It's almost a new hobby and my wife (non-smoker) always just shakes her head when I get a new package of juice or toys.

Obsession is a good way to put it too. I have successfully converted 3 people and have about 2 others ordering stuff to try it. I was all secretive about it at first but then decided "screw it, I'm already married what do I care what strangers think" and started using it pretty openly. I've had a lot of random strangers come up and ask me about it and at least of them I saw again today and he told me that he had gotten his wife to order him one after talking to me about it.

Spreading the word and the obsession now I guess. Addiction prone personalities must be the best market space for all these new ecig product companies!

Huffelpuff - 8 days is the hardest part. The first couple weeks is the hardest. Once I got past the first couple weeks I stopped really wanting a real cig. I also found that using a smart phone app that puts how many days you've had smoke free, how much money you've saved, and how many cigarettes you haven't smoked is a good motivation tool. I reset it every time I had a real cig and eventually that helped be extra motivation not to have a real one - didn't want to see it go back to 0 again.

I'd also recommend keeping multiple nic levels. I used to use 12mg primarily (smoked ultra lights) but always kept a carto of 18mg handy for the times when I'd go to a happy hour or have a few beers. Now I don't need the higher level at all so I just stick to the 10-12 level. I'd go to 6mg but that completely kills the throat hit and I really like that.
