M201 usb charger lead

Shawn,
I received a new M201 kit and have noticed the new usb charger lead turns the LED on at the tip of the battery when done charging,is this normal?

My new charger behaves the same way - saves me from having to keep checking whether it really is red or if it's bouncing from red to green like the older one does!
