I've been trying my best to vape but things always get in the way with me enjoying it. I had a good run for a while when I got my new juices but that came to a hault when my atty started giving a quarter of the vape than it usually does. Yet I still had my second atty, it gave great vape, better than my first atty when it was new. Sadly that lasted less than a week it seems because it developed a slight burnt taste towards the end which meant time to re dip. Eventually the burnt taste came after fewer hits and now it just won't go away at all and comes after 1 puff but the vapes great...

I have tried cleaning both atty's under hot water. Made the first atty produce same vape but more flavour. The second atty has less of a burnt taste but its still there and can be unbearable.

Are these atty's salvageable or are they junked?

Any tips for avoiding these mishaps? Any reasons why these things would happen?

I just want to have an enjoyable and fun time like the other people around me when they vape but their seems to always be something new happening with my e cig, its very discouraging.

Maybe a new model would suit me better, one with less maintenance and more reliable parts, suggestions are welcome.

Soak them in rubbing alcohol for a couple of hours. Then rinse well with hot water and let them dry. The taste will go away.

The reason they are tasting burnt is because you are running them too dry. Attys are to vape juice. When there is not enough juice to vape, stuff starts burning. Keep them wet and that problem will not reoccur.

Hi Stixs and welcome. This statement puzzles me:
"Sadly that lasted less than a week it seems because it developed a slight burnt taste towards the end which meant time to re dip"
Did you mean that to sound like you vaped all week without adding more juice? If you did then no wonder you got a burnt taste! You've gotta keep that cart filler damp honey, just like JerryDon said. You do have some ejuice so are you topping off your cartridges when they get dry? I think we just need some more info from you and then we can help you more.

I dont have the model you have but for mine I make sure I wipe the threads of the atty (and battery threads too) as sometimes even a bit of juice on them will make them not work.
OTOH attys are fussy things and can break just because, they arent too pricey to replace though - about the same as a pack of cigs (maybe a bit more). Dont waste TOO much time on trying to revive one when you can replace it - I think it jsut makes you less ikely to vape thru frustration.

I am cleaning the threads daily and keeping the atty's wet with juice.

I cleaned my attys with crest mouthwash and the burnt taste is gone from the one and its making great vape. The other atty is vaping slightly better but I think its time in the sun might be done.

Do attys slowly fade in vaping production before they die? I would like to know what to look out for to know if an attys done.
