One of my pilot batteries randomly died on me today. I never dropped it or mistreated it. It blinks when you put it in the charger but the light stays green.

I know the M401 batteries don't use a standard pneumatic pressure switch, so what could possibly cause it to die? I really want to know so I can fix these myself. Seems like a perfectly good waste of a lithium ion battery.

I had exactly the same thing - and it was only 4 days old! It had been working perfectly until then and I've reported it back to ecigs.co.uk in the hope they will replace it for me.

Trouble is I've now only got one battery. I have some more on order but they haven't arrived yet .... what am I going to do? 8-o

I lit up an analog yesterday evening while the good battery was charging and had to extinguish it again straight away. It was foul - yeuch!!

Make one:D

I've got a touchy 401 batt, It will sometimes act dead, no blinking, no activating ect ect. Sometimes this will last an hour, sometimes it lasts 5 minutes. when I plug it in the charger it tells me it's all good to go.

The activator for the 401's is more like a microphone than a pneumatic switch, what I think the deal is that your mic went out not allowing you to activate the battery, yet since the battery itself is fine does no good to charge it as it has a full charge already.

Just one more argument for manual switches.

The battery died on me after 4 hours of use, so I figured it was dead (it never blinked after dying though). After I got home from work I put it in the charger and it wont charge. So the battery is definitely uncharged and wont accept a charge.

I'm going to order a few more M401 batteries and take this one apart and try to figure out what the hell is going you.

A Better Smoke - Creative Alternative to Smoking Cigarettes has m401 replacement batteries. Thankfully I ordered one of their black and gold batteries a week ago, so I still have two batteries even though one of my originals died. Gotta give them props; they ship really fast and have instant customer service. And no, I don't work for them :p Just sharing my experience.

I really wanna tear this dead battery apart and figure out what the hell went wrong with it.
