Im looking for a cartridge mod for my M-403 GOLD EDITION , that will let me add more juice or something..lol..I wish the little black juice holder thingy (dont know the name for it) was bigger/longer..gosh that sounded bad..anyways..Anyone know what I can do to achive this? Thanks :)

Hi :)!
To anyone answering the above perhaps might also know of any mods out there for the M401 too? Specifically a PPC for the M401's; and best Battery Mods to increase voltage to 3 to 5 volts? The mod question above on carts seems like another one I'd like to know about too. I am planning to go buy the 801 since it has a long cart and lots of mods designed for it too; but it would be nice to continue to make use of my first PV the M401 with ?added mods? to make it as powerful and versatile as possible.
Thanks:confused:

There's an XL cart available at LiteCigs... I didn't buy those (stupidly). However, I'm assuming they're similar to the ProSmoke stock cartridges (which by the way is the same model as the M40x series).

These carts have a clear plastic insert, that has one flat side, to allow the airflow. As far as drops go, I put about 8 in the standard cart, while these clear ones get 10 drops (with room for the filler and no overflow). So basically 25% more vaping ability.

There are lots of m40x series (m401, m402, m403) mods out there for both the standard and XL cartridges. Do a few searches for m401 cartridge mod(s) and you'll find them. The m40x XL cartridges are not much bigger than the standard length cartridges, but I understand their e-liquid capacity can still be as much as 33% more, which is not bad for the extra 3mm of length (though still on the small size compared to other model e-cigarettes). They don't fit in m40x PCC boxes when attched to a battery and atomizer (regardless of battery length/box size apparently), but if you trim off the top of the silicone caps they come with they will fit as spare cartridges. Even then, I still carry a little 10-16ml sampler size bottle of e-liquid in my pocket to regularly top off my cartridges with while I'm on the go. Works out pretty well. The only "modding" I did to my XL cartridges was buying them already factory pre-made with the PTB (Pyramid Tea Bag) mod. Sadly, I haven't seen that optional available anymore anywhere for awhile now, but the benefits of that particular mod were fairly minor anyway.

There are larger carts around. Search for M401 XL Cartridges? I bought some once. They are longer and the juice cup is longer. But if you are holding the M403 with your lip then the extra length might make that harder. You cannot make the jucie cup in the normal carts any larger because the atomizer sticks into the cart - if you put a longer juice cup in a normal cart then the cart would not push on the atomizer right.

I cut blue foam stuffing for my M401 cart (I am still using the original cart since I rarely vape the M401 any more - I just cut new blue foam for it when it needs it). I cut it from the cheap precut 510 pieces at strictlyejuice.com

And I think someone above pointed out some cartomizers - the only ones I have ever seen are some r4 CE2 cartos and I may have gotten them at VaporJunction.com. They need a special syrimge to to fill so be sure to buy the CE2 filling kit. CE2's are made of metal and will be heavier than M401 carts.

Personally, I would not use larger carts or cartos on an automatic battery. Buy a spare battery while you are at it.
