Ok, I got the hybrid kit from electronic-cigz. M601 and M602. After two days, the automatic battery didn't work properly. Would only stay on for 3 seconds or so, and to get that to happen you had to suck like a (insert witty comment here).. No problem, these things happen, contacted the supplier and he said he'd send me a new one. Thought that the charger might have had something to do with it.. so he's sending me one of those too.

Now here I am, at 1 AM in the morning, with my manual battery sitting in my lap. Wanting to vape, not wanting to smoke. Problem is.. if I connect the atomizer (either one) to it, it doesn't shut off.

It's a manual battery. The LED doesn't turn on. It just starts heating the atomizer. What do I do???????????????:confused::mad::confused::-x:mad::confused::-x

It took 9 days to get my kit in the mail. I contacted Sean about a week ago? So there's no guarantee it (the automatic battery that's being shipped) will be in my mailbox tomorrow morning. I can't make it a full day without nicotine, and I spent all of the money I can on these two (faulty) batteries/chargers.

tl;dr : Manual battery keeps heating the atomizer, won't shut off. LED light isn't turning on while this happens.

Edit: Am currently screwing the atomizer and cart on, taking a puff and unscrewing. Hope to god this doesn't blow up in my face.

I had a similar problem with my 401 recently. I was out of warranty, so I decided to try and take it apart... I did a horrible job and destroyed the threads on the battery, so it's beyond repair now. But what I did find is that moisture had built up in the switch and was causing a short. Had I not destroyed it taking it apart, my next plan was to clean the whole thing, I was going to bathe it in alcohol and let it dry thoroughly. If nobody else comes in here with another good idea, and you're not confident you can't take it apart without destroying it, I'd try this if I were you. Also, try and make sure it's discharged the battery ideally before trying this. I'd call this a last resort. But for the problem I was pretty sure I had, (and turned out I did after disassembly) this solution should have worked like a charm. I'm definitely watching my other battery like a hawk for signs of trouble and it's bath time for the SOB! Good luck! Happy vaping!

Bathe the battery in alcohol? That sounds counter-productive. Any other way I could have the inside dry out? lol don't want to make my battery essplode.

I'm thinking two possibly reasons why this is happening. I had just charged it, so maybe the cutoff on the charger wasn't working right. OR, there is moisture causing it, like you said.

After a few puffs on it, by screwing/unscrewing the atomizer and cart, it seems to be working like normal, only the LED is now blinking 5 times occasionally.

Feels good to have a puff, but there's definitely something wrong with it. I hope it's just something that I am able to correct or self correcting. I'm still under warranty, but I really don't want to have to wait on a replacement manual battery, while I wait on a replacement automatic battery.:-x

If you want to try that, use the toilet. Its easier and will waste less of your time to rock the handle on the toilet than to wait a few days for the alcohol method to dry out then have to use the effort to throw it in the trash.

Also toilet water is much cheaper than alcohol, and unlike alcohol, it isn't a shame to waste toilet water.

You have to take the trash with your batty in it out, again requiring effort for no good result.. The toilet method seem much easier to me

woruta,
My manual battery goes on, off, then stays on while I take a hit. My auto battery works fine and has a longer cutoff than the manual! On the auto batt the led flashes 5 times when I reach the cutoff. While you wait I suggest getting the disposible 510 for 10 bux, its very different as more vaper, less flavor, less throat hit but is phun to play with and it should be at you 4-5 days from order placement. Then when your 602 pissess you off (as mine somtimes does) you can vape on that cheapo 510 for awhile.

So I charged my battery half-assed this morning for about 30-40 mins. Didn't want to charge it overnight considering it isn't working properly.

It won't cut off if I connect the atomizer to the battery. It just keeps heating. So basically every puff I want, I have to screw/unscrew screw/unscrew. Didn't get my automatic in today, and I'll be at work when the mailman comes tomorrow. I hope to god this battery doesn't stop altogether before the automatic comes in. What'd be even better is if it just started working properly.

Occasionally when I connect the atomizer, it won't heat up. That's when I can press the button and it works. That's a rarity. When the battery is dead/dying, it will blink the LED the standard 10 times or w/e. Then again, sometimes it'll blink 10 times, and then let me use the button. (Sorry if my explanation is coarse, long day, mind numb etc.)

Is there any way to dry out the battery? I know if you drop electronics in water, you could put them in a bowl of rice and that should dry it out.. as rice will absorb the moisture... but since this isn't water.... well, how do I know it won't just be sticky inside? Or it could just be water... idk, I'll try tonight while I sleep. Any other suggestions??

Because its almost dead. You mentioned on other threads that you've been charging these batts overnight, untill the blinking light goes solid and dim on the charger.

The sticker on the charger says blinking means its done charging.

I'll only had my m602 1 day less than you so these might be problems I will have 2morrow8-o.

When your new batt comes in though, take it off the charger once it starts blinking.
