m601/602 cartridge filling?

I've recently purchased a m601/602 from electronic cigz, and it seems like my cartridge is drying up really quickly...

So, i've follow a lot of the instruction videos, i take out the inner cap, take out the filler, drip about 6-7 drops in, put the filler back in, and put about another 3 drops on, screw it to the addy.... but i only seem to be getting about 10 hits or so. At best i can drag on it for maybe as long as a normal cig.... am i doing something wrong? My friends got a joyce 510 with pre-filled carts and they seem to go on for days of use...

First of all I don't have either of those models.

Mine are 510s.

On my 510s I use an eyedropper, when I'm done there is not a dry spot anywhere in my cartridge.

So, i filled it a third time last night, to the brim, like.... 8 drops in the cart, 3 on top to where it had a bubble of e-liquid on top, tapped that with a paper towel, put it in the larger cart holder, pushed it down with the rubber stopper, shook it a bit, screwed it on to the e-cig, holding it battery down for a couple seconds, and took a couple puffs. It seems to be working better, and it also seems like if you take a bunch of long hits one after the other you'll dry it out rather quick, but if you leave at least 30+ seconds between puffs it'll last longer and taste better....

filled it at about 11 last night, was puffing on and off till ~2, took a hit this morning and it appears to be not only still good but still juicy =P.

so how was days 3 and 4 with the carts? I've read the carts should last 5-7 ciggs. do you think thats accurate? are you using the carts from the kit or the ptb carts?
