Yesterday I stopped by the casino for a few hours of fun. I was playing and from out of now where a securith guard comes up and asks me if that is a electronic ciggarette I am using. I say yes and he then tells me that I can't use it in the casino (I was in the smoking section). I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

Seriously! you can smoke a cigarette but not use a pv?? how does that make sense?

Unless your state has banned e-cigs, feel free to post the name and e-mail address of the casino....and we can all send a message stating how we will never step foot in their dump and will make sure we tell everyone else about it too.

:mad:I was just playing the slots. The name of the casino is Northertn Quest Resort in Airwayheights, WA the addy is Northern Quest Resort & Casino . I even questioned to get it straight that I could smoke a cancer stick but I coiuld not vape ny 0 nic PV. I just couldn't believe it. I could understand if it was in the non-smoking section. I think it is silly but I can understand it. That is a place that I will avoid in the future. I just can't imagine what they could be thinking.

That's just wrong then, I would talk to management about that. Or just use an ecig that looks like an analog (white w/ red LED) it's not like they have signs up forbidding ecigs, so the worst that can happen is they ask you stop.

In a casino. In a smoking area. And you can't vape? That's just mind boggling. Personally, I'd have to at least talk to someone there who could tell me what the hell their reasoning is behind that policy.

I know you're playing, but I'll play straight in response...

Naw, there's only one casino I go to in one particular place. We understand each other and the couple tables they have that are low dollar with very small boots. They let me take some carefully calculated payout because it's good for their business, they buy me dinner, and I don't come back [to play] more than once a year tops. We get along great because we both understand how it's played. Going in with a [non-biological] computer makes 'em cranky. Remember - they have access to all the technology (ie. counter-technology) in the world, and staff that is focused on protecting that investment that are specialists in doing just that very thing.

you just got someone being a jerk

Or a policy that got established either preventative or given some issue. I've got to admit that I had considered it, so the speed with which they've responded to the threat is surprising to me - but defends my earlier statements...

Lair' - all that squeeeeeing makes it hard to focus. ;)
