I've got the gunmetal version. I am a fan! 2 post, large post holes, no bottom air flow (yay!) just adjustable side airflow, flip top for easy refill, grub screws (hex heads).

There is a sort of dovetail piece that the top cap aligns to the base. I forget about it whenever I come back to this atty. it won't sit flush unless aligned properly, but it does keep the top cap from spinning. It's not too snug on the o rings and trying to get the flip top open would be a pain without it.

In addition to the previously mentioned, I love the semi-chuff, slanted Delrin cap over the heat sink/DT setup. It just works.
Build quality is ok. The hinge on the flip top is kinda flimsy feeling but there is a removable screw to adjust. Airflow is excellent wide open, only way I vape it. I've got a .4 ohm build on there and it's nice.

So the mad hatter has got a velocity deck with side airflow now. I feel the bottom airflow in the v1 was the main source of the chuckery. Clouds explode out of my v1.View attachment 519542
Sorry shouldn't have knocked it, since I haven't even tried it (v1). I've been going off of reviews mentioning leakage. I agree about bottom air to coil and clouds though. the few that I have vape well.

I feel the v1 is more leak-resistant than the Kennedy, Mutation Xv4, or even the magma(other bottom airflow attys I own).
My MHv1 is an unbranded ehpro/wotofo "clone" (quoted since I have found too much conflicting info on the interwebs on who actually makes the authentic). The v1 deck is the same as the Freakshow, and actually takes up a ton of space in the topcap, reducing chamber size down to barely larger than a Derringer's. I actually really like the build deck of the v1, though I like three post atties with beefy posts, big wire holes, and grub screws.
I'll look around for a v2, since it looks like the lovechild of a velocity and mutation x v3.
Put a new set of coils on my v1 today. Comes out to .52 ohms. I forgot how much I like this atty.

Could you post some pictures of how the AFC works on the v2?

I certainly can do that. I don't have it on me here at work but will do when I get home tonight. I'm glad you posted positive reviews on the v1. I will pick one up when I get a chance. I too like bottom, DTC airflow as long as leaking is kept to a minimum. Nice claptons;)

In Mike Vape's review of this RDA he mentions the red o rings aren't too snug, but the black ones fit nice and tight. This looks like a good RDA. Like a Mut X v4 without the bottom airflow and 2 post design. The flip top seems like a nice feature.

Wasn't aware of a Velocity deck version but all three of my V1s (2 Minis) have been sitting unloved for weeks and weeks now... may have to change that.

Bottom airflow leaking issues are user error, here's why... never, never, ever let your tails touch the airflow tunnel below the coil(s). Some combination of surface tension and capillary action will produce a slow, steady stream of juice down the channel and out the air intake holes. Every time.

Keep the wick free of the rim there and it will never leak. Period.
    (damaged O-rings notwithstanding)

Alright, sorry it took longer than expected. Here are some shots of the air flow control on the v2.
18 holes on the outer ring, 9 (3x3) each side:

Inner ring has three open slots for single or dual coils:

Here is the air flow set to half:

Here you can see the alignment "dovetail" piece I was referring to earlier:
