Recently, I placed an order at Mad Scientist Vapor. I had never ordered from them before and I'm not the type to usually spend more than a few dollars per a bottle, however, their pictures and descriptions just sounded so fun that I gave in and bought a bottle of Bubba and a bottle of Swirly Pop (I have not tried the Swirly pop yet).
I got concerned when I got an email saying my order was "completed" but hadn't been shipped. I emailed them and heard back that day from a very nice person who told me that they hoped I liked the juice and explained that their auto email for shipments has been acting up a little. While their bottles came in a simple bubble wrap padded envelope, I really luved all the little touches. There was a stamp on the front that said mad scientist approved which made me giggle and it had also been marked as fragile. Adding to the cuteness was a sticker inside my order and they had handwritten "Thanks, Lisa" on the paper that they had wrapped the bottles in (That's right, Internet, my mom did not really give me the name Sonata as pretty as that would have been).
Bubba is delicious and amazing. First off, the smell is a light banana aroma and I could smell it even before I had opened the bottle. When my hubby came home and I was vaping, he too, was like, that smells sooo good. I guess we just both like bananas.
The liquid itself is much thicker than i'm used to. Mad Scientist makes a point in saying that they don't allow the customization of PG / VG Blends, and I watched an interview where the owner said that is so they can offer consistency. No big, had a bit of trouble at first getting it into my tank but it wasn't impossible by any means. I'm just used to a more water like consistency.
The vape itself is very smooth. It's a very light flavor on the inhale and the flavor bursts really well on the exhale. The best way I can describe it is that it tastes like little banana candies aka runts. It has the slightest of a lingering taste that I like quite a lot in the back of the throat. This juice has made me much thirstier than other juices I've vaped but i'm guessing that's due to it not being a 50/50 vape like what I usually get.
I give this one a 9 out of 10. I don't think I could vape it all the time simply due to the sweetness but I really like this one and could see me always having a bottle on hand.
