RYW4 is the desserty brother to r2d2 errrr RYJ4. A sweeter, richer, caramel/vanilla with a dialed down tobacco. This one is balanced better with a pretty fair amount of vanilla-a good one.
Both have excellent vapor production at 25/75 and both have a good throat hit despite the high vg content. I only wish I ordered it the opposite lol That would put the flavor strength exactly where I want it- almost in your face but not suffocating. As is, its still medium and yummy.
The tobacco is on the brighter side, not woodsy, straw like, or with any odd or offensive notes.It's an American custom blend type far removed from its Chinese ancestry as is RYJY.
If you asked which was better I could only say neither. This one is aimed at sweet desserty RY4 lovers while RYJ4 is aimed at those who prefer less frills and a stronger tobacco flavor. Its great to have choices isn't it? I'm really diggin both.
While neither are worth selling your blood or firstborn to get if you are ordering from Maddcatt you should try it. If you've never had ry4 and are ordering Maddcatt and want to try it, again:
RYJ4-stronger tobacco, less sweet
RYW4-stronger caramel/vanilla, sweeter.
