I bought unflavored 36mg to mix with, and ordered Fruit Stripe Gum from Flavor West, water soluble. I got it today and just mixed up a batch with very little mg. and PG, equals about 8mg. I'm trying to back off some... It taste exactly like the gum I remember as a kid!! I also got Cola, and Pomegranate, they smell wonderful too! Flavor West sell larger volumes but you can get 2 dram samples. I think they will last a long while. Can't wait to play some more but I'm waiting on bottles. If you haven't tried them you should!

I got my order yesterday and I find them to be fairly weak. This is a great thing for me though, as many flavors, such as PA's and Cappella's, are just way to strong for me to work with. I made some fruit stripe and tropical punch and put about maybe 1/2 ml of flavor (I really don't measure at all lol) to a 10ml mix and it's pretty good. So far, it's the best DIY juice I've made. I need to get some sweetener, though, and I think the flavors will pop out much more. With PA's flavors, a single drop or maybe 2 of some flavors will completely ruin my juice. I am liking Flavor West so far, as the tastes are more spot on to what I think they should taste like and the prices are great. Mixing with highly concentrated, super-strong flavors just doesn't work for me at all.

I have one flavor from Flavourart, which is Whipped Cream, and I use it quite a lot. It is also not a knock-me-over strong flavor.

It's interesting how Vaporrenu sells Flavorwest extracts on their site for $5.99 per ounce and have a huge ad there that you can click on to go directly to the FW site. For the same price, you can get 4 ounces of Flavorwest flavoring directly from them for $5.95...

I'm so new to DIY that I just keep adding and tasting, and I did use quite a bit of flavoring but it sure is good! I made up some of FW pomagrante (sp) with PA's Double dark choc. I couldn't taste the pom. at all for a week I added more of the pom. I put it back thinking, lesson learned, and ran across it a couple of days ago and gave it another taste and OMG! that is now my favorite! So now I need a BIG bottle of the Pomagrante to mix with. It just took it a few weeks to pop, but it did!

One of the things I don't like about DIY is the amount of time it takes for juices to 'steep', 'age', 'mature', etc. -- I want it perfect, and I want it NOW! LOL

Maybe using a less-concentrated flavoring is an advantage. For an extreme example: if you were only adding high-potency nicotine to a zero nic premixed juice, you'd have the full flavor very quickly.

The FlavorWest site says to use it at .25 to .50...

So, are they recommending 25% to 50% flavoring in the mix? I suppose that would explain the low $ per ounce; PG is cheap when you buy it by the drum. Or the tank car.

It would be useful if they'd list percentages of PG, VG, water and alcohol for each flavor. I try to control the amount of water in the mix and my wife prefers low PG juice.

I would love some whipped cream, might have to give them a try next!

Welcome to DIY land. By the sound of your enthusiasm you will soon have many more flavors in you gear box. I have found that with delicate "fruity" flavors it does take some time to sit in the mix prior to getting the full effect. Coffee and stronger flavors seem to change very little over time. Enjoy

I hear you! I made tarimsu (sp) a few weeks ago and it was the BEST! I vaped it down to a few drops and decided to mix a new batch, It taste like celery!!!! No kidding, it made me sick last night, but it's not quite as bad today, still not good though. I trying to figure out what to add now to get back my favorite vape.:(

Slyfox - I know when I started out I did not write things down. Now I take notes when creating a new mix then when I get it right I add it to my recipe database which is in Breaktrus e juice me up calculator:
eJuice Me Up - e-Juice e-Liquid Recipe Calculator

I really like this tool.

I just had to add to this thread that Flavor West's Cinnamon Roll is to die for! Seriously, it tastes like a hot cinnamon bun. I added about 1/2 ml of the cinnamon roll, 2 drops of my whipped cream and about 20 drops of sweetener to a 10ml bottle and it's so good, I can't seem to put it down.

Your combination sounds wonderful! I'll have to get all the above and play, play, play :)
