I got my DIY stuff today and I made my first juice! I made a creme de menthe and I did test it out (I know, supposed to let it set but I couldn't wait) and it turned out really well! I used the juice me up calculator and started out with just 3ml in a 6ml bottle so that if I need to adjust the flavor or whatever I can recalculate and add to what I have. Seems to be fine...maybe will add a bit more VG next time. I'll have to see how it is after it sets a day or two. Now I have something to vape after I brush my teeth LOL. Some flavors just don't taste good with toothpaste! :p

Thanks for everyone's help...now I need to go let my cat out of the bedroom...I didn't want her to try and "help" me and knock something over. I'm sure she's ...... off; she likes to sit on my lap ALL the time!

Welcome to the DIY club and the creme de menthe sounds like a nice sauce to loose the DIY virginity with. Heres to many more great vapes. It really is satisfying when you know you will never run out of juice or have to wait for the mailman to hurry up and get there w/another 30mls because you are almost out!

Congradulations, Sounds Yummy. Now be sure to write down the recipe' so you don't forget it.

What's next? Thin Mint perhaps? Just add som Chocolate and you should be on wheels.

I actually did get some milk chocolate flavoring as well and thought I might give that a try. I tried to start out with a few flavors that would be good on their own or mixed...I got milk chocolate, creme de menthe, raspberry, coffee, and tobacco. I did a small batch of raspberry and it was pretty close to what I want...needs a little more flavor and a little more VG next time. Also did a coffee + milk chocolate, but it is a little bitter, so have some EZ Sweetz ordered.

What you might find works well is to perfect certain elementary flavors first. By that I mean it is incredibly easy to mix a perfected Chocolate with a perfected Mint to make a Chocolate-Mint. But it is more difficult to mix a Chocolate-Mint from scratch.

Also, since the flavors change when (I hate this term.)"Steeping", you can instantly taste your recipe if the Chocolate and the Mint are already "steeped".

That sounds like a good idea to me! How about "marinating" instead of "steeping"? :)

It does simplifies things.

I've got a box full of basic flavors. Chocolate, Waffle, Hazelnut, Almond, Irish Cream, etc All of them are at 12mg which is what I vape.

When I run low on e-Juice to vape I just open the box and say, "What sounds good this week?". How about Irish Cream - Waffles. Squirt some Irish Cream into a bottle, Squirt some Waffles in. Test it. Needs more Waffles. Another squirt of Waffles and Bingo Bango it's done.

Steeping to me means putting in Hot Water. I like the term "Mature" or "Aged" much better. But you know how these things go. Someone coins the term first and it sticks.
