Haha, I didn't tell the full story. Bought a joyetech eGo-C kit from some site. Was using it for a good week with great success.

A friend that I hadn't seen in three years visited me and told me he had quit smoking for good. He pulled out a Provari and I knew I had to get it. Rush ordered mine the next day and have been tinkering/smiling ever since!

$12-15 packs of cigarettes were killing my health AND my wallet.

Sucked it up and bought a Provari and haven't looked back. Waking up in the morning feeling refreshed is just the icing on the cake.

Was a long time lurker but finally registered. What a wonderful community!
those bodegas, and candy stores got too much of my money, when i should have been buying food.

@jfalbanese: that's the entire point of bodegas right? :)

@indianajames: haha that should never be an issue. moreso reveals my weird personality where I need to have the "best" (relatively speaking) of something if it is within possibility. the most important thing is that we are on the road to becoming smoke free.

@babyk1352012 the worst was when I'd go out to a bar with friends and we'd smoke my entire pack. then I'd run out to a local bodega, realize it was cash only, pull out $20, pay $4 in atm fees, buy a pack and have $4.xx in change, randomly spend the $4.xx on things like gum, candy.

I'd wake up the next morning with that pack, half empty, crushed in my pant pocket and unsmokeable. Will never miss that.

Thanks everyone - don't want to hijack the thread, but I had to respond - the yellow is Maggie and she's 10 and the black is Molly and she's 8 1/2. We got Molly as a puppy when my son was 4, and Maggie we got when she was 6. They are just truly the best dogs and much, much happier there is no smoke to be found around here - we are happy because a mass we just found in Molly's belly came back as benign - we are all so very relieved!! :D
