Made the switch-new Ego user with ???

I have been an occasional customer of Cignot's for years, but have always been scared of the Ego. Yesterday I decided to give it a try, and stopped at the store. Dennis was very helpful and took a lot of time to describe the different options and how they worked.

I decided on an Ego C, and Dennis showed me all the components and put it together for me, and I really like it so far. However, last night I wanted to try a different flavor, and had trouble filling the tank. When Dennis did it, it seemed so easy! I had trouble with the juice sitting on top and only a little dripping down into the tank. I am used to cartos that you can pop off the top for filling.

So--any tips on filling? Also, are there any posts/videos on maintenance, cleaning, and other tips? I did search but came up with way too many results to sort through.

It has always been a pleasure doing business with Cignot, and now that I found out there is a store 10 minutes away from me, I am so thrilled! Thanks!

did u get the silicone caps? the caps comes off either way, so u can pop it off and fill it easily. sometimes, dennis will hold the tip of the bottle into the hard plastic hole and slowly drip it in there. i find it just much easier to take the cap off.

another option, dennis sells some empty bottles with a blunt needle on top, that makes refilling super easy

I wouldn't worry about popping off the cap to refill the tanks, I do that all of the time and haven't broken one yet even with tanks that are 3 months old. I just pop them off with my thumbnail but you can also use a dental pick, straightened out end of a larger paper clip, or similar tool. I'm must confess, the idea of trying to drip juice through that little hole on the cap sort of boggles my mind as I imagine it would be a slow and messy process, especially with thicker juices.
