It looks solid. At some point you may want to add a MOSFET - you can then use a smaller tactile switch for the fire button or even a touch switch.

I would say for a first mod, this is an excellent entry point into modding. I always felt it was better to start off with a straight battery mod and from the looks you started off well.
For critiques, I would say that switch is a bit large for me but if it was what you had on hand, then it was justifiable.
My personal favorite switch would have to be this one from madvapes. Link
It is a bit long in the back but what sticks out is nice and small. It is a bit expensive for a simple switch but it can also handle 3 amps also.
I like that it can be an adjustable depth also due to the threads.
