I'm sure many of you saw this "alien meets Evolv" DNA40 mod on other forums...it is certainly unique but a bit garish IMHO.

I've got a few questions about this mod:

Do they call the OLED display the "Giger Counter"?

Do they call taking lung hits with it "doing a chestburster"?

When somebody goes to pick it up, does the owner say "Get away from her, you .....!"?

When the battery is dead, does the display say "Game over man, GAME OVER!"?

To dispose of it, do you need to nuke it from orbit?

Thanks. I actually saw that thread in a search I made after I posted my request to you. The poster claims second hand that someone else contacted Madvapes and they confirmed that it is a leak of an actual project but that Madvapes states they aren't putting it into production. That could be true or Madvapes could be is scrambling to get some damage control. Either way...it's an interesting (yet flawed) attempt.

Darn. With a similar topper it might be nice as a display or collector's piece. I generally think mods are boring.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought "H.R. Giger is making eCigs!" when I first saw this device

I'll never forget the impact the game "darkseed" had on me as a child, Giger's Artwork is definitely unique! Kind of a shame this isn't (supposedly) going into production as it definitely has a similar feel.

Personally, not my taste. And it's not bottom fed.

But hey, your right.. if y'all keep talking about it and post pictures online left and right. China will pick up on it and surely produce a clone!

just looks like a photoshop. the amount of work to put that into production would make the price of that mod insane and barely sell imo. if they wanted to keep all the intricate details of that picture

Shame they pussed out on this one that would have been interesting although they would have probably done it cheap which would have ruined it
