Well, I had an issue in an order I received today. I ordered two vision spinners in stainless. These where listed on the site as such. I made the order and got a confirmation on stainless in my inbox. I got the order today.........chrome.....with a shipping ticket that said stainless. I called costumer service and was told " we no longer have stainless ". I asked if I could get a refund as I didn't want chrome, and was told about the "return policy". I am expected to pay to ship it back?. It appeared to me the rep could not of cared less. I don't think its right to expect me to pay for their mistake. I have spent hundreds of dollars on equipment and liquid. I will likely spend hundreds more, but not with a company I can't trust will get my order right and expect me to pay the price. This was my first experience with madvapes.......not impressed.


I decided to keep the "chrome" to save any more "throwing good money after bad", and count the loss. I will order stainless from somewhere else.The $60 I spent certainly won't break me, but it IS a principle with me. Thats just poor business, and I won't make that mistake again .

Sorry about the misunderstanding Ranger. Colors and materials are a bit subjective and not necessarily the material used to make the product. Titanium eGo batteries are not really titanium if you know what I mean. From the manufacturer, they tell us the color is stainless so we put them on like that but will be sure to be more thorough in explaining the color and material in the future.

Thanks for the apology. I do understand the colors aren't "true". Thats not really the case here though. I have examples of stainless, chrome, black, and titanium from different brands (ego,Vision, etc.). While there is a little difference between colors between manufactures, they are still basically the same. However there is no confusion between stainless and chrome (Stainless - brushed, chrome - polished) especially when the product came wrapped in a sleeve that was clearly marked "Chrome". I ordered and paid for stainless. I was sent chrome instead. It would of been better maybe, if when I called I had been given an apology then, or a call to let me know about this BEFORE it was sent. I could of made a decision then if I wanted chrome instead of paying to ship it back.

All is not lost though. I used the money I would of spent on returning this for my new STAINLESS vision spinners (purchased elsewhere), and I now have Christmas gifts for a couple of friends that DO like chrome. I must say too that the stainless color match is flawless with my stainless Bulli-Smoker hardware (two AT-2's) which was what I was after.

Obviously vision still makes stainless spinners ( please let your rep know this ), and for those reading this, I love the vision spinners. They work great with this setup.

Hoog, thanks for your time. I'm really not upset about this anymore ( as I've moved on), but I would reconsider your "return policy" for cases like this for future reference...............just saying.

Totslly understand and thanks for being cool about it.. These were supposed to come in as stainless and when looking at them trhough the baggie, they did look stainless and got put on that way. The next day when someone finally opened one and realized they were chrome, the description was changed quickly but we should have notified people first of the color difference before shipping..

I have an update to this post. When I first called about this, the rep I talked to did tell me I could get a refund, but as per policy I would have to ship it back to them. I filled out a "help desk" form shortly after this from them. The reply explained that they had got a different color in shipment from the supplier, and before they caught it they had shipped me the chrome color instead of stainless. I know things like this happen ( I ran my own business for 15 years ), but I still felt like this wasn't an adequate resolution. I basically wrote this off after that, and this brought me here.

Today, I got another reply from the help desk . Evan told me that if they had stainless, they would have already sent them with a RETURN SHIPPING LABEL for the chrome. Since they don't have this ( I had decided to keep what I got anyway ), they are giving me points on my account.

It appears to me now, with the replies to this post from Hoog, and the help desk, that they actually DO care about costumer service. Seems like they have done about everything they could to "make this right " with me, and I was a little hasty to judge them. So………



Madvapes….please accept my apology for being " a little quick on the trigger" about this. Thank you for caring about your costumers. I wish you well
