I bought a Magma today. I'm impressed! Looks great on my istick 30W and the build was actually pretty easy. Ended up using a 3.0mm Kuro coiler, which worked wonders. Tried a few flavors at the shop and ended up with a very tasty 6mg juice. So...here it is! Single coil 28g Kanthal, 3mm, Japanese Cotton...on the meter it read 1.56 Ohms, but on the istick it reads at 1.8. Tried it outside as I don't want clouds in the house...I'll either use it outside or blow down my shirt. lol. Very nice at 11W (I did try it a little warmer, but 11 seemed to be a nice balance)! I'm so glad I bought it. It's a nice cool vape - comparable to my EMOW. Haven't played much with the airflow settings - had it set for the 3mm single hole. May hop outside to try the dual hole. Without further ado...

I'm vaping mine atm. It's a great little atty. I actually haven't had a bad build in it yet.

I'm not sure if the current build or the previous was my favorite though. So far, this one is pretty awesome, but it's still more power hungry than I would like. Previous was a 1 ohm 24 gauge single. This one is a twisted build with one strand of 24, 26 and 28 built to .3. The 1 ohm 24 gauge needed 60-70W to be mind blowing and this one is happier between 50 and 60. It also does a much better job with the medium single air hole and about ~40W. The draw is more tight than I like using the single air holes, but at lower vape temps I get a weird, harsh throat hit.

Your build looks great, btw. Enjoy playing with it.

Thanks! I was pleasantly surprised how good it was for my first build! I did the same coil in my Subtank tonight and tried it out with mixed results. Lots of spitting and can't get rid of the burnt taste from the previous build that went horribly awry. lol. Might have to stick to the stock OCC in that one, but I'm actually finding I like the Magma better, which surprised me. Probably because of my issues building in the Subtank. I think I'm going to have fun trying different stuff in the Magma!
