There always seems to be another must have RDA. I am Guilty - I have several "styled like original" RDAs - why? not sure since each before the last purchase has performed well. Low cost provides me variety in looks and somewhat in performance and they are in stock - maybe that's why? Probably not, I just like buying different e-cig stuff.

I have IGO-L/W/M, Nimbus, Patriot, Magma, Origen, Stillaire, Smotek Mini (micro), A7 - probably others can't remember.

Maybe I have been lucky that all my RDAs (mostly from fasttech) are made well - take a beating and keep on kicking.

I pretty much only use RDAs now - Magma for out and about and others at home. Drawer full of tanks from EVODs,protanks to Kayfuns that are not in circulation.

RDAs suit me: none of mine leak, gurgle, spit, or fart. Great flavor and vape density. I enjoy coil building/wicking of various configurations and permutations.

Just set up a vertical in mine.. I tried wrapping a nano, but I think the thinner coil was allowing wick to sit inside- around airflow outlet. I bumped it back up to my typical 2mm build.. which will keep wick out of airhole.

I just dripped liquid all over wick and coil.. leaked a tad. I was hoping that it would be easier to just take drip tip off to drip on the go.. we'll see.:)

I just got my Magma clone from Infinite today and as far as I can tell, there are no imperfections. Looks like a well built, solid dripper. I am a beginner rebuilder and am going to attempt my first dual coil later today and don't wanna mess it up. Or should I just stick to a single coil for now? I don't really have any high powered devices or mechanicals, my main PVs now are my iTaste VV3s, MVP and my Evic, but I am looking to get a DNA 30 clone in the near future. I guess I could aim for a coil around the 1.5 ohm range? I have a1.5ohm microcoil on my Igo-S/Evic right now but I feel like I don't get really good hits, I have to take 2 puffs while continously holding the button for a decent hit, the first hit is always weak and flimsy. If I try to make a dual coil, will it be weak too, since my device does not have high wattage?? I am still pretty new to rebuilding. I just want a decent cloud and good flavor!

Also, if I make dual coil, I assume its ok for the wires from the two sets of coils to touch inside the posts right? Unless there's a seperate hole?

kyi, the dual coil set up uses the same holes with no problem.

JeffK123, I have both the authentic and the clone and the clone is solid, wish I would have picked up two clones and saved a couple bucks. The one on 101vape is nice and is a solid performer! I don't drip and mine never leaks, a unscrew the cap, fill the well and I have zero problems. The adjustment ring is great, airflow from the bottom across the coils produces tasty thick vapor. Right now only my Viking is preferred, you won't be disappointed.

I did replace the screws on both with hex but that's only because I find them easier to work with when building.

Yeah, they can touch inside the posts, just the two coils themselves shouldn't touch.

As for your power issue... Single coil on a magma sounds like the better option, dual coils take a lot longer to heat up so without a DNA30 or a mech you're gonna be having the same issue just worse. Remember, to get a 1.5Ω dual coil you'd have to stick 2x 3Ω coils in there... I've done it on my IGO-W, and hated it :p Really didn't get my IGO-W back out til I figured out my batteries can handle up to 18 amps continuous discharge (Got 'em with my Vamo, figured they were just ....ty batteries that could barely handle Vamo... Turns out Efest V1 2250 mAh IMR 18650's aren't bad at all ^_^ Got some Sony VTC5's on the way tho, scared to try anything under .6Ω on my Efest's, running on a mech mod)... But long story short, until you get a device that can pump out the power and batteries that can handle said power, stick to single coil. YMMV ofc, since I have my Aqua running at 1.2Ω (dual coil, tank not dripper), get great flavor from it but I get better vapor from my Kayfun (On my Vamo, I turn the VV up to 6 which in theory gives me 30 watts, normally run my Kayfun at ~ 8-10w).
